Do NRL teams run onto the ground to their team song as they do in AFL? And do they play and sing it after a win?
|
|
By:
Not before the game. After depends on the club.
The Sharks are known for the whole crowd singing after the game. The players from all clubs sing in the sheds after a victory. Monica Monica |

I could be wrong about before. It's been a while since I've been to a club game.

"Dont know too much about nrl but do know or thought I knew that a ball pass to a player that catches it in front of you is a forward pass.....especially obvious with a white line close by.."
I'd stick with thought you knew. A ball travelling forward is not necessarily a forward pass. |

pass was forward out of the hand
he was being tackled and had no forward momentum, it should've been an easy call. like the the knock-on call that wasn't which led to the sharks first try |

Number 1 ref got suspended for his poor performance in broncos v titans in week 1 of the finals. A game where broncos were the only winner and won 13+. To me the performance was no worse than any referee performance in the finals so far.
So they bring him back for the cowboys v sharks game in week 3 of the finals, now better believe if he wants to ref the grand-final he has to toe the line like a good yes-man. Two years in a row with no sydney team in the grand final is just too much to bare for the n(sw)rl. Seeing as it's a 2 ref system now and the other ref knew what was going on he didn't want to be out shone by his colleague. He wanted to please his employers and stake his claim for a job in the grand final too (he also ref'd the cowboys v storm game which the cowboys lost in week 1 of the finals). Cowboys, the much better footballing team had no chance, it was a perfect storm. |

Stockholm syndrome. Must admit I am often surprised by your knowledge- Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon described in 1973 in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.[1][2] The FBI's Hostage Barricade Database System shows that roughly eight percent of victims show evidence of Stockholm syndrome.[3] Stockholm syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes "strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other."[4] One commonly used hypothesis to explain the effect of Stockholm syndrome is based on Freudian theory. It suggests that the bonding is the individual's response to trauma in becoming a victim. Identifying with the aggressor is one way that the ego defends itself. When a victim believes the same values as the aggressor, they cease to be perceived as a threat.[5] You must read a lot |
