Steward's objection upheld.

The placings are now in order of relevancy and accuracy based on the forumite's own spelling of name title and abbreviations thereto ;

For me, Pollett was just one more pest at the track for whom I had to develop coping mechanisms.

But what he said happened to be true.

It was essentially paraphrasing Keating's version:

In every horse race I always back Self Interest.
At least I know it's a trier.

There was no pressing need for Pollett to say it.

But it is true, and fining him shows V'landys is lieing.

In a similar vein no one cares about Teen Queen.

We all have our own personal problems to contend with.

So TQ, tell someone who cares.

May bet it isn't Packer.

I don't understand the last four lines of what you wrote jfc. Why bring me into it - you made your point very well and I agree with everything you said bar the last four lines which need further explanation please ...

I believe that deal is still available whoopi.

Oh boy, TQ.

I wouldn't wish the troubles you must have copped on anyone.

But most of us have our own issues to deal with.

For example I'm at a distance from my family. But they have sickening issues I have no idea about dealing with.

If someone has a go at you simply because of your gender bad cut of the deck. I'll stand up for you.

But when you comport yourself like a pest of Polletesque proportions, as you do do, I'll cope by writing what you may not like.

I thought JFC replaced it with a 12 for $12.95 deal.

I'm led to believe that deal is only available in certain stores in NSW, Vicotira and the ACT. But I could b e wrong.

JFC, I've no doubt everyone has their own issues to deal with, no matter what they are - we're all human and the issues are all real and often complex.

But if somebody has a go at me because of who I am, I'm not going to sit back and take it - that's giving in to the bully and I don't do that anymore. I don't think anybody should do that otherwise bullies get away with it and nothing ever changes.

I realise that most of the people on this forum are probably more right-wing aligned in their thinking, more conservative, and so that tends to underlay their thoughts and perceptions on things that they type - like the ban on greyhound racing, like the legalities of what has happened in the Glenn Pollett case, people tend to form opinions and comment according to where they roughly are on the conservative - progressive continuum. But what I find utterly irritating is, and for some reason it's the more conservative in society that seem to exhibit this trait - these people think they can make a comment or statement and have it go uncontested. Then they claim that anybody who writes an opposing piece is intolerant of allowing others to voice their opinion and have their freedom of speech.

That's just plain bullshỉt. Anybody who makes comment, whether written or oral should expect it to be scrutinised by others whether they agree or disagree, and that's all I've ever done. The notion that I'm endlessly complaining about some personal prediucament is also utter bullshỉt. Apart from one or two things which could've occured better, I wouldn't change a thing about me. I wouldn't know half the life-lessons that I do if I hadn't been lucky enough to be who I am - it may make existing in a world that knows way less about certain things difficult, but it's been a very, very rewarding experience.

As for how I comport myself - I'll be the judge of that.

Look TQ,

I hate bigotry and believe in tolerance. And not attacking people because they are different.

Particularly since I consider myself different.

But consider that Goodes incident with that child.

I've studied that and it was blatant child abuse. By him and the AFL. and illegal.

I commend mum.

She chose to protect her kid, rather than enlist shysters for a fancy settlement.

On a fundamental level Goodes and the AFL were dead wrong.

But then we have to suffer so many from the PM down turning this away from what a blunder Goodes made.

The relevance here?

If Betfair had banned you for being different I'd side with you.

But you were simply being a pest.

None of us want or need to have every topic damaged through your impertinent issues.

Betfair did not ban me for being a pest. They banned me because I was complaining about the bigotry. Unbelievably they took the side of the bully(ies), but I've been back for ages now, whether they know it or not, and mostly that issue is ion the past and forgotten - except when some pricks still on here decide to be bigots again.

Every topic is not damaged because of the points I raise in support of the arguments that I make. For instance, and a really good example is that you've just made mention of the Goodes case in making a point on another issue. That's fine and while I disagree with your overall assessment and support what Goodes did whole-heartedly, I'm glad that you raise an unrelated issue to make a point on another issue - it's what I do all the time. I find that analogies are good in getting one's message across. Many of the analogies that I use may indeed have their origins in LGBTIQ+ issues, I can't help that, it's how I learned the many life-lessons that I've learned. If somebody else uses analogies from football all the time to get their point across are they going to cop the criticism that I do? I doubt it very much because you guys are used to football as a topic and are unused to hearing about LGBTIQ+ things. That's not my fault. It's not shoving anything down anybody's throat anymore that you mentioning bigotry against indigenous footballers would be if you were called upon to use that analogy more often.

The problem here is that you guys know my background, and thus whenever I write anything - you are reminded (by your own minds) of my background - thus I can hardly say a diverse word without being accused of shoving it down people's throat.

The treatment that I received at the hands of Betfair moderators for standing up for myself (read - not for being considered a pest), was appalling and almost went further on the back of some very significant other online bullying claims by others around the same time, only to not proceed because of ill-health and a lack of available time at the time.

Look I'm being crucified simply for my jfc handle, so there's no need to tell me some regulars are off the mark.

Agree or not, I was trying to be pertinent with the Goodes angle.

The mum nailed it by suggesting he should not be carrying on like a pork chop.

And neither should you.

If some bigot here takes cheap shot at you situation, then fine. Stand up for yourself.

But the way I read it was you'd launch into a tirade every time you thought one of your feathers were ruffled.

Not much fun for everyone else.

Points taken. More than any of this I love horse racing and punting/trading. I also like being silly and I don't care if I'm 51 and still act 12. I love it that Whoopi, Joel and Kamikazee and Glenn Pollett see life that way too. And what I love even more is Spy v Spy, Village Kid and Lets Elope wading in when they think I might be under attack, like vultures feeding on a rotting carcass, they hover, reading everything, waiting because they think what they've got to offer is in some way going to hurt me. How wrong they are.

Seriously what a narcissistic self obsessed clown you are mate, if you think I give two hoots about you, you're very sadly mistaken, hovering around waiting for you to stuff up that's the funniest thing I've heard in a very long time, and highlights exactly how out of whack your thinking is, why don't you go back to looking in the mirror, it's clearly what you do best.

Praying = what a useless exercise. There is no god of any type, so why waste your time thinking that there is and talking to it. If you guys think that praying shows that you care about jockeys then think again - it shows how intellectually stupid you are.
