Why bother Betty the bat slasher?.Stick to betfair and the totes----dont stress guessing whether your gunna get on or whether your gunna get paid.
Its good when you provide these parasite ****s with horses to bet on and you can get jack **** on yourself.Tabs included.
What a hide these ****s have putting up prices first, suppose you can when you don't bet anyone.
Anything you do, even non-stop losing bets, they keep chopping you back harder and harder.
It's slow, very annoying and 90% of the time bets are declined. They just don't want anybody betting with them it seems so eventually you give up and go somewhere that lets you on.

I backed a horse at $26 tonight and when the shortened it to $13 i barreled up. I then couldn't have any more on it, but they left the $13 up. WTF is that about?

Think they are a group of WA bookies, that bet through this site. To bet with them, they must bet the odds they offer as long as it still matches their boards when the bet hits the site or they no longer have access.
To be fair, I think for the most part the only active bookie is Topsport, but certainly for WA races, and Satudays etc, there are a few on offer.
Can take your pick of the bookie you want, or load them up through something like DynamicOdds, and simply have access to the best offer.
Certainly a good idea, that looks after the punters. Would love something like that to take off, but the fact remains, bookies want to be able to pick and choose their clientele.
Isn't it strange that the locally owned Topsport keeps getting accolades,all justified for letting you on.
Now food for thought says but what about all the shrewdies taking overs and stripping the joint of any and all profit.

Done plenty of arbing with BB. Aus, UK, doesn't matter, they pop up daily.

The transcript of Steve Fletcher's testimony makes interesting reading.
He testified that the corporates ban any punter that loses less than 7%. That's their cut off point to determine a punter that knows what he's doing.
He also testified that that if you open a bowler account your initial bets should always be on tote based products as that gets you marked down as a mug.

I emailed hrnsw ceo john dumesny about bringing in minimum bet rules he said we are looking into it.

I just noticed their early markets for Globe today are all 135%. Previously they religiously put up 125%.

They do get the 'cheap tip' about what people want to back by letting you on for not much. Generally it is very much not worth it. If you back anything early (in harness racing at least) Sky have an orgasm over the 'shortener' and the price gets destroyed late.
For just one example at Kilmore last night Bellmac Kody was backed from $7 to $5 fixed so started about $4.5 mid tote. If whoever backed it had waited until the last 2 minutes it would have started about $8 mid tote.
You essentially have 3 options for getting on for a lot in harness racing, and if you're being smart most will involve mid tote:
a) Back the fave or second fave early (it only takes about 300 to knock the price off) so it becomes Skys sacrificial lamb for the race and the lemmings will jump on. Lay it back very late if it shortens enough or just let it run. Smash whatever you really want to back in the last 2 minutes, too late for Sky to start squealing.
b) Wait until you see what the sacrificial lamb is. If you like it then get on fixed if you're fast enough or just forget the race. If you don't then back whatever you do like normally.
c) Get on with Tatts who actually let you on for a bit fixed.

The bloke who does their WA racing markets must have a job fr life they're miles out on some races, last week they bet 10's coco cash when it was resuming and having its first start for Durrant for fark sake and on top of all that they bet 1.85 Red Ora I didn't get on either of them at those prices but in all seriousness it's almost impossible to be that far out on such a consistent basis.
They bet $41 that winner yesterday. I priced it 9/2 equal favourite. Unfortunately they only wanted to bet me to lose $187.50 at that price. I was happy to be on at $16 and $11 when I could get on for more.

Seem to have edged their opening markets up to 135 - 140%. Kilmore R5 tonight has opened at 147.5%.
I think this will actually work for them as enough mugs just want to get on, they don't care about value.

i seen a message on dynamic odds that they had changed their T&C's so id say so (i cant get on with them so dont know personally).
