Castiron there will always be overs when the bloke framing the market has no idea.
What they will find is that the more % they put up the smarter the business they will get. The only business they do will be on the over. 35 years ago the bookies at Flemington would put up |

35 years ago the bookies at Flemington would put up less than 110% and lay plenty of horses because every mug had a chance.
When BET365 eventually put up 150%+ they will only lay the 2 or 3 mistakes for the day, the mistakes will be their worst results for the day. Even at 150+ mugs with no idea of the true odds will make mistakes. The funny thing about 365 is that they put up odds with severe restrictions 12+ hours b4 a race, because, i thought, they want the "cheap tip" but it seems they don't want the cheap tip from someone with an idea, They want cheap tip from a mug. A Reading from the Book Of Woody Chapter 3 Verse 2 "My children, % will not protect you, but immerse yourself in knowledge of the form and you shall reap abundant reward and the mortgage shall be paid " Thebas that less than sign was the problem, Cheers |

it's all so much a different beast these days.

The key is finding someone with a losing account. It's surprising how much you can get on and for how long.
|
|
By:
No wonder they won't bet anybody.
they have put up 135+% in every race at globe tomorrow and there are several very very large overs and a couple at 3-4 bucks that will run 25+ ----------------------- No matter how many monkeys they have having typing , I suspect they will never come up with anything like a true market. |
|
By:
365 why do they bother putting up Sth OZ trots
a montha go they were putting up 125% now 135+ and still a lot of massive overs IMHO they won't bet anybody with any ability and the Numpties won't cop 135+ ,(Numpties need a lead in , a clear cut fav, they far too many shorties for the geese to have a guess at) |

They do get the 'cheap tip' about what people want to back by letting you on for not much. Generally it is very much not worth it. If you back anything early (in harness racing at least) Sky have an orgasm over the 'shortener' and the price gets destroyed late.
For just one example at Kilmore last night Bellmac Kody was backed from $7 to $5 fixed so started about $4.5 mid tote. If whoever backed it had waited until the last 2 minutes it would have started about $8 mid tote. You essentially have 3 options for getting on for a lot in harness racing, and if you're being smart most will involve mid tote: a) Back the fave or second fave early (it only takes about 300 to knock the price off) so it becomes Skys sacrificial lamb for the race and the lemmings will jump on. Lay it back very late if it shortens enough or just let it run. Smash whatever you really want to back in the last 2 minutes, too late for Sky to start squealing. b) Wait until you see what the sacrificial lamb is. If you like it then get on fixed if you're fast enough or just forget the race. If you don't then back whatever you do like normally. c) Get on with Tatts who actually let you on for a bit fixed. |

I can't get a tonne on anything above 5/2 with Tatts.

Have you thought about opening another account ? |
|
By:
bet365 have taken the fixed odds down on the last 3
have they thrown in the towel? have they sacked the MUPPET who frames their markets Fcking Boguns IMHO They obviously decided that I, along with numerous others are far too good for them, si what do they do sack us and keep the veggie framing the market. Here's an idea , sack the spaz and offer the job to one of the guys who is obviously far superior to him |
|
By:
The site went off line. You could still get on via the phone.
Did you get any of the $41 Land Of Panaarm ? |

The bloke who does their WA racing markets must have a job fr life they're miles out on some races, last week they bet 10's coco cash when it was resuming and having its first start for Durrant for fark sake and on top of all that they bet 1.85 Red Ora I didn't get on either of them at those prices but in all seriousness it's almost impossible to be that far out on such a consistent basis.
|
|
By:
They bet $41 that winner yesterday. I priced it 9/2 equal favourite. Unfortunately they only wanted to bet me to lose $187.50 at that price. I was happy to be on at $16 and $11 when I could get on for more.
They must have more than one person doing their markets on SA trots. Some days their markets are a mile out. |
|
By:
I make it about $6 ran on well and wide previous start and was a big possibility of early speed
I could get $10 to 25 cent, |
|
By:
They are absolutely irralevnet, last winner dartmoor on 363 $3.20 all betting
Betfair it was hard to get 2.8 so clearly the blokes wanting the 2.80 either don't have accs with 365 or can't get on And no one can get on for enough at the 3.20 to make the crush worth while. fcking muppets |
|
By:
They have the odds up for tomorrow night, They are fcking legends they do the form WITHOUT checking for scratchings
When I had a preliminary look this morning I knew that ALWAYSWANTONO was scratched , 6 hours later 365 put it up at $1.75 are they absolutely clueless --Yes Is it an attempt to rort with deductions--probably |

By:
how can they put up the sh1t they do?
some horses today have the decimal point 2 places to close to the left margin. They put up 135% and still bar blokes , how the fck can their market framers be that poor. they have a horse under $4 i have marked it 110/1 other intersetingly priced horses race 1 east to west $3.25--3.30 art of gold $4.2---4.40 |

Seem to have edged their opening markets up to 135 - 140%. Kilmore R5 tonight has opened at 147.5%.
I think this will actually work for them as enough mugs just want to get on, they don't care about value. |
|
By:
It doesn't matter what they put up. they don't bet anybody.
they hav X/1 about horses and you can't get on with betfair at 80% of the quoted price, to me this means not even the arbers can get on and do any business |
|

Is anyone else getting updated T&C recently with 365?
|
|
By:
i seen a message on dynamic odds that they had changed their T&C's so id say so (i cant get on with them so dont know personally).
