Not easy to score twice under this new configuration

Yes, but a try forces them to score 3 times.

Been leading with his head all game.  Should be sent off before he really hurts somebody.

another try makes in 18-6, still only two scores down.

I know how to add up.  They still would need 3 to win.

No?

grand finals are traditionally tight games, take the points when they are on offer.

All over them, chance to start your set 15 metres out, or go for a long range penalty.  With nearly 35 minutes to go in the game.
In a tight game, 6 points is worth much more than 2 points.

Especially when you are the best second half team in the game, playing against a team that has scored a couple of times in the last 3 months in the second half.

Put it to bed early, keep them out of the game.

scoring a try looks easy now, pressures off

Pointless argument.  Thanks for showing up.  CrazyCrazy

Anyway, pretty easy to predict the winner there.  Bulldogs had no chance.  Plenty of money made by most no doubt.

I can understand your confusion as your probably a fan of that game with only one scoring option. It's almost like your saying, why score a behind when you can go for goal?

In sports there is something called a percentage play. That was an example of it.

What an absolutely pointless line of posts you have just come up with.  Hope it tops off your night.  Enjoy.

if percentage plays are beyond your understanding, I'm afraid I can't help you further.

Fair play to you, at least you watched our grand final, I probably would have watched the AFL Grand Final, if only there wasn't a good horse race meeting going on at Randwick at the same time :)
