As we knew it the landscape is changing, round ball with simply rules and little physical contact is moving in steadily.I acknowledge it's skills and World-Wide recognition but would rather go fishing(which i never have)than go to a game of soccer. With Pele's mob hosting WC and BF already holding a lazy 12mill it seems AFL might have to 'try' growing the code outside OZ in the future, the only downside (for me)is the Time Zone. I usually pose the Question,will the day come when AFL goes International on a regular basis?Most of the answers share a common ground,Only when OZ accepts the likes of NFL/MBL on a regular basis. |

Gladd to see the coach is realistic, unlike their previous mentor as that was indeed a major step backwards.
As for you Sharrod it's all very well talking the talk after the game, lets see some deeds and real effort from you out on the field, if you know that you're being lazy and losing concentration start chasing, smothering and laying a few tackles and that will bring you into the game, its not exactly rocket science. |

Its WA day here formerly foundation day but the name had to be changed because god forbid we don't want to offend someone, apparently WA day is more inclusive what a load of craap and am not celebrating it maybe going over to a friends place and going with them and their kids down to the local park as its a nice day for doing something like that anyway.

Megsy how the fark is this making excuses under any circumstances, clearly you didn't bother reading it, North were good but nothing special, we were absolutely pathetic. here a refresher of what I posted.
Choose any negative adjective you like to describe the eagles performance tonight pathetic, insipid, abysmal etc, etc, the lack of effort and intensity from the majority of the team was appalling and what's more it was apparent from the outset, North were good but lets face it they were playing witches hats most of the night with the exception of Naitanui, Priddis, Darling, Le Cras, Brown (who never gave Thomas a sniff all night) Mckenzie and Bennell. Wellingham and Gaff both need a punch in the head to wake them up, Yeo had a rare down game, Coxy going through the motions, definitely his last season the way he's covering the ground now or rather not covering it. Shuey clearly not fit and shouldn't have played and how hill played ahead of Hutchings is anyone's guess, should have known when hill was the sub that we couldn't possibly win No doubt there will be some sort of response you would hope against the hawks but it's a game they can't possibly win anyway so it will mean nothing. The game should have been over at quarter time but in reality was definitely over just 5 minutes after halftime. Can't believe they played like that with their season on the line and it capped a very, very, average weekend for me on the races and the footy. Oh well its only money and I will get it back in a fortnights time when they play the Suns at subi as will be on the suns for plenty, they wil smash us. Gaff's effort against Petrie towards the end was nothing short of appalling and he's as soft as butter currently. |

Looks like Lloydy won't have to worry about Carlton playing bootsma unfortunately for them.
You can't believe some kids today are that bloody dumb, don't get me wrong I don't in any way condone what he did but if he wasn't an afl player he would be in trouble with the girls mum, his pregnant girlfriend (clearly he's a real class act)and their family and maybe suffer a police complaint which would in all likelihood ultimately go nowhere but as an afl player you get splashed all over the local news and newspapers just a stupid, stupid thing to do. So many kids now have these sort of things flying all around the internet not realising that the long term consequences of social media are that a couple of mistakes will haunt you for a very long time. I suppose long term it could eventually reach saturation point that so many people have stupid stuff orbiting the net that no one really gives a stuff but until then it's an unbelievably bonehead and inappropriate thing to be doing. |

Went to her School, Flirted with her, slept with her and deserted her. Of Course she tried to fight back but was made look bad and tried to set up Nixon. I have read "teenage girl", not "underage girl". How old was this girl? How old was she pretending to be? What was she sending to him?
As for the Saints school girl incident, I think it is ridiculous to suggest that she wasn't a piece of work. For a start, she says she met them at a nightclub, anything that happened was consensual, and then started siht by suggesting she was pregnant, before then seducing and setting up Nixon, of course after going through players at other clubs as well.. What they did was worse? A hot girl wanted to fcuk them, and they did. What is so bad about that? Are we all virgins here? |
