lloydy rest assured your team will react as the flat track bullies they are and "bounce" back against the dees who are still terrible but that doesn't distract from the fact that you're not much chop.

Im tipping 10 Goals as Melb are terrible, They messed it up more than us.
But Dropping Waite is plain Stupidity

Why lloydy, Waite's not going to be around much longer a perfect chance to make an example of a name and give Casboult an opportunity to boost his confidence at AFL level and put the onus on him to stand up for his team. A real win / win situation if you ask me.

Waite has 2-3 Years left in him. Maybe longer
He has been a Teese since day 1.
My Old reviews i even put that in there.
But he is one of our best players and needs to be played into Form.
He will go back to 2nds and dominate but i could dominate there.
Why play Duds like Ellard and Rowe they wont be there next year.
Keep Bell and white in.
Waite should never be dropped. He must be injured

Listen to one of the f'wit board members on radio saying how poor the list and players are.

Same guy who was a big part of getting rid of a coach who got that same list into the 8 year on year.

Every board member should be forced to meet Ratten personally and give him an apology. Mick has proven less capable that Ratts in getting this group to be something. No one can argue that

Aussie,
I could of saved them MILLIONs 4 years ago if they listned to me
Im still at loss of word how Waite was dropped. Thomas big ??????? and waist of Drafting again. Just like Mick Mainsfield, Mick Mcguane trades
Play Cashbolt but have a leader out there telling him where to lead.
Guy can take a Mark just cant play Football (Cashbolt) When he was tied up at Crown they should of left him there.
All i want is to see my last 4 year reviews as i copped a Bagging on them and i was right.

We were in Desperet Needs of a Backman.
Had so many Midfielders Picked up Lucas and let Talia slip through.
So many people where in Shock as none thought Lucas was in top 30.
Could of had Fyfe an Talia that year
Also Last year Lucas wanted to go back to Perth but Carlton Held on.

Kept 2 to many Players every year

And they were Told Watson would only be a star at Junior Lever but they took a Gamble.
Lucus will go down as the worst as 15/16 Clubs would of picked Talia before Lucas.
Also Reid went high that year.
Warnock was a Shocker to Hold onto.
3 Names Warnock, Judd, Mclean Baindaids till they fell off.

hindsight is easy you have to move forwards and you had a good backman in Laidler and Mick wouldn't play him and gave him away for nothing, you can't tell me having laidler at the moment wouldn't be valuable.

Just watch Laidler at Syd.
He is a back up for LRT if he went down
Butcher of the Ball. No Loss
Why didnt Geelong Keep him?

Somethings seriously wrong at Carlton. They reminded me of us for the last 5 years. Bereft of confidence, lack of leadership, no intensity, no fight, no enthusiasm, no workrate and worst of all they don't seem to care enough

Yes well the players certainly don't look like they're playing for the coach. They all support Mick publicly of course, but they're not exactly going to come out and say they think he's ****

Coach has runs on the board, very soft and overrated playing group, who would get a game at the hawks or Freo, I can't think of any and present day Judd included
By:

When: 13 Apr 14 05:57
But the coach is the reason why the Freo players have improved. What were the likes of Walters, Johnson, Clarke, Crowley, De Boer etc doing before Lyon came along. Was the same at St Kilda, Lyon gets the most out of his players, they play to their potential. If Lyon took over Carlton when Malthouse did they'd be top 4 material by now

Exactly. Mick has been a wonderful coach but some refuse to accept that he has completely lost this group. Ratten had the same list and made them a finals side. They are now a bottom 4 side

No they weren't. They were well on their way to not fulfilling their potential, just like Carlton are right now. Ask Johnson and Walters what they think of Lyon. They'll both tell you that they wouldn't even be in the AFL system now if it weren't for him, let alone being elite players

It's not crap, I've watched interviews with both players, both said not only has he turned their footy careers around, he's turned their lives around off the field too

Johnson, deboer clarke and mzungu were already either good or had shown good ability, no argument about Walters he made him adhere to standards and become the player he is. Ballantyne was very good from the moment he was drafted.

ORMER Carlton ace Brendan Fevola has taken aim at his old club, criticising the decision to recruit Dale Thomas.

Writing a column for Wodonga’s The Border Mail, Fevola said Carlton’s decision to part company with “fan favourite” Eddie Betts had cost the club on and off the field.

He also wrote that the Blues “might have won a flag” if West Coast Eagles full-forward Josh Kennedy was still at the club.

“Carlton wouldn’t pay him (Betts) the money he wanted, so he went to Adelaide where he could get it,” Fevola said.

“If the Blues didn’t have the money, then fair enough, let him go.

“But they went out and spent $700,000-a-year for four years on Dale Thomas.

“He may take the occasional specky and get his 15 touches but so what?

“He won’t win you a game off his own boot.”

DO YOU AGREE WITH FEV? HAVE YOUR SAY BELOW

Fevola suggests Carlton lost in the deal that brought Brownlow medallist and former captain Chris Judd to Visy Park.

The Blues parted with key Kennedy to snare the silky midfielder set to make his return from an Achilles complaint on Sunday.

“Juddy has been an absolute superstar but, looking back on it, who won that deal ... it’s tough,” Fevola said.

“Josh Kennedy is now a superstar of the competition at West Coast and right now probably more valuable than Juddy is.

“Who knows? The Blues might have won a flag if he was still there.”

Fevola was sacked by Carlton after his drunken antics at the 2009 Brownlow gala, the final chapter in a series of off-field incidents.

Brisbane recruited the star full forward on a big-money deal only to let him go 17 games later following further off-field breaches.

Fevola said Carlton’s winless start to its 150th anniversary was “embarrassing”, while outgoing president Stephen Kernahan, probably the club’s greatest player, was meant to be six-month appointment when Richard Pratt was sick.

“There were high hopes when Mick Malthouse came to the club and beat Richmond in the finals ... but now there’s nothing for the fans to cheer about,” Fevola said.

“Losing to Melbourne last Saturday might just be the darkest day Carlton has had in a decade.”
