Don't know about anyone else on here, but if my employer offered me a reduction of $50k per year on my salary i'd be moving employer or industry straight up.
Just read a story on the HRV site about this taking place
So I pose the question to all trotting guru's, how is it that the most recent chief steward in Vic would be prepared to surrender his role and be satisfied to take a demotion back to a lowly steward only gig.
Surely there has to be more to this than meets the eye.
Can anyone else shed any light on why this bloke happily took a massive demotion and pay cut.

12 yrs for Tony Pullicino...he'll wish he kept his horses to racing in Victoria.... no positives ever found there.
Do Riverina horses go a lot better in Victoria than on their own home tracks or am I being a bit cynical ?
No, the two camps (one races under many names) go like jets everywhere
Melton races 2,3 & 4 winners all gifted the lead and all three new it was there for them. New Chief Steward same antics.
