Must say I still don't quite have my head around paying for someone's tips. I wish him luck anyway, is that why he doesn't post on here any more?
By:
On the other hand I do understand why one might pay for m yard "mail" to add to the form they've already done themselves if they're not on course.
Watching the PS last night I was encouraged by GP admitting he got one completely wrong (rebel dane) and was also curious to learn of his weighting of behaviours in the yard. Am I correct in assuming that his selections are based on appearance/behaviour AND his own form assessments? Rather than just appearance/behaviour? |

You only get the B set of tips from those 'experts' IMO
By:
If his tips are so good, why would he not keep them to himself.
Same old Bull ****...He may have a good run for a while then drop off the radar when he has a 3 month losing streak![]() |

a couple have questioned why would people buy tips and why would anyone sell them is they were any good
i see no harm in anyone paying for tips as long as they keep to within there 'comfort zone' when putting on their money - people can access the success or otherwise quite quickly. As for selling of tips, i see more positives than negatives - * could provide a steady income * raisers the sellers profile (should they be relatively successful) * ensures the seller is on his game - no room for complacency when others are placing their money on your recommendations |

Good post LIH

Thanks AD
I truly believe what i wrote Many years ago i started buying tips from a group - i always remember when he rang up one particular time and my missus answered the call - she had no idea what i was doing at the time or what the guy was on about but he quickly won her around by telling her i would take her out for a nice restaurant meal after his tip wins! And it actually did ... dont think i got around to taking her out though! And there ended my association with them! |

id buy AD's tips for melton tonight

Good post LIH
Well it may be printed off and be going "straight to the pool room", for Mopey..... but I'm still none the wiser for it. ![]() could provide a steady income ffs ![]() |

Joel, IMO I wouldn't be charging any less that $70 + GST per tip
By:
In other news, everyone can get my Melbourne set this weekend for the reasonable price of $1999.00
By:
Should have said 'bargain basement' price.

I'd genuinely be interested to know if MP gets more subscribers for his set or R Waterhouse does for his "A.....set"
By:
I am a man of the people Dane, if I were to charge that it would be per day, not per tip....so if there were multiple cups on the one day punters would get good value.
By:
both of you should reveal your real names and a contact phone number -if you are to back up your claims with credence
By:
The only reason I'd reveal my phone number, LIH, is to give people and address to send the cheque.

Least you can do is put a free "sample" up on the Memsie Takes Day thread, Dane.

my point was - MP is now out in the open.
His reputation will live or die according to the success or failure of his tipping. Pretty brave of him i reckon |
By:
My thoughts are often open to the public.
Ahh yeah, brave I suppose, plenty of people out there putting their tips up for free by the same token. At least he gets to cuddle up to a few bucks at night for the trouble. |

1 thing you know, M_P will work harder than he has in a long time to get set as perfect as he can.
The downside to putting out a set every meeting, is some cards look just too hard where you might be lucky to have one bet, but you have to put out a full set, and you can't really put out a set and say I don't like the card at all, as subscribers will think it was a waste of subscription. GL M_P |
