Afternoon all from www.puntersshow.com.au and we love launching a new product and we have a ripper starting this week for Melbourne.

Expert punter and bookmaker Leigh Dalton kicks off what will be a weekly thorough analysis of the Melbourne Saturday meeting.

Leigh has been a fixture in the Melbourne betting ring for many years and has built a record as a highly successful punter and form judge.

We have been working with him for some time to develop a set that we are extremely confident will be a winning one and are thrilled to launch this week.

“We have had some fantastic success with most of our products, the most recent one being the phenomenal returns of John McLeod in Brisbane,” Dallas Baker said.

“The format of Leigh’s set is very similar to John’s with a comment for each runner, a breakdown of each race and, most importantly, a staking plan expressed in units.

“I have no doubt Leigh will return a winning set overall and be a very welcome edition to the Punters Show suite of products; give him a go, it will be well worth it!!”

Leigh’s Melbourne set kicks off just as the carnival action springs right into gear with the Memsie Stakes at Caulfield and he is very confident of a winning start.

“Yes, Caulfield does look very good on Saturday, I’m really looking forward to it and think we will starting on the right leg,” he said.

“On my first run through the form, there do look some seriously good things we will be launching right into and some other runners at very good value we will be on as well.

“As Dallas said, the format is similar to John’s in Brisbane and like John, we will also not be afraid to let races go; at the end of the day it is about winning and we will play each race on its merits and in doing so, I’m sure we will end up in front.”

If you would like an example of Leigh’s set, please head to the site www.puntersshow.com.au and the last two weeks he supplied for private clients are contained in the article about the new product.

Leigh's set for Saturday set can be pre-purchased now for just $55; you will be sent automatically an email download link that will take you to his sheet when it comes online Saturday morning.

Must say I still don't quite have my head around paying for someone's tips. I wish him luck anyway, is that why he doesn't post on here any more?

On the other hand I do understand why one might pay for m yard "mail" to add to the form they've already done themselves if they're not on course.

Watching the PS last night I was encouraged Laugh  by GP admitting he got one completely wrong (rebel dane) and was also curious to learn of his

weighting of behaviours in the yard. Am I correct in assuming that his selections are based on appearance/behaviour AND his own form

assessments? Rather than just appearance/behaviour?

a couple have questioned why would people buy tips and why would anyone sell them is they were any good

i see no harm in anyone paying for tips as long as they keep to within there 'comfort zone' when putting on their money - people can access the success or otherwise quite quickly.

As for selling of tips, i see more positives than negatives -
* could provide a steady income
* raisers the sellers profile (should they be relatively successful)
* ensures the seller is on his game - no room for complacency when others are placing their money on your recommendations

Thanks AD
I truly believe what i wrote

Many years ago i started buying tips from a group - i always remember when he rang up one particular time and my missus answered the call - she had no idea what i was doing at the time or what the guy was on about but he quickly won her around by telling her i would take her out for a nice restaurant meal after his tip wins! And it actually did ... dont think i got around to taking her out though! And there ended my association with them!

Joel, IMO I wouldn't be charging any less that $70 + GST per tip

I'd genuinely be interested to know if MP gets more subscribers for his set or R Waterhouse does for his "A.....set"

I am a man of the people Dane, if I were to charge that it would be per day, not per tip....so if there were multiple cups on the one day punters would get good value.

both of you should reveal your real names and a contact phone number -if you are to back up your claims with credence

The only reason I'd reveal my phone number, LIH, is to give people and address to send the cheque.

my point was - MP is now out in the open.
His reputation will live or die according to the success or failure of his tipping.
Pretty brave of him i reckon

My thoughts are often open to the public.

Ahh yeah, brave I suppose, plenty of people out there putting their tips up for free by the same token.

At least he gets to cuddle up to a few bucks at night for the trouble.

1 thing you know, M_P will work harder than he has in a long time to get set as perfect as he can.
The downside to putting out a set every meeting, is some cards look just too hard where you might be lucky to have one bet, but you have to put out a full set, and you can't really put out a set and say I don't like the card at all, as subscribers will think it was a waste of subscription.
