Harness Jewels Day

The fourth is particularly interesting for Aus trotting fans as it features upcoming star Blitzthemcalder who has drawn awkwardly inside the second row, behind the other awkwardly drawn favourite Royal Aspirations.

He begins moderately and a little awkwardly and doesn't show much acceleration at the finish in a complete sprint home.  He doesn't seem well suited in most of the likely scenarios today.

these 3yos are nothing short of unbelievable - what has bit of a legend done 3 wide no cover (he's the number one horse in that stable imo)

Even though Ashburton times are borderline ridiculous, some incredible performances were put on show today. Some serious horshflesh, already looking forward to seeing them all next season
