I hope some on here heeded my warning there was no way known I was backing the Eagles today and the key player injury list from hell just got worse.
Le Cras almost certainly has a broken arm, Glass injured, McKenzie hamstring, on top of Rosa, Naitanui , Kerr, Wellingham. Poor Le Cras can't catch a break at the moment after coming off a blistering pre season he now breaks his arm, the only good thing is that he will still be able to run so he shouldn't lose too much fitness but to lose him McKenzie and possibly Glass on top of the injuries we already have is far from ideal to say the least. There are some players who are really going to have to respond to the challenge that lies before them now but thats the price you pay when you dominate much of the first half and fail to reflect that domination on the scoreboard as they should have been far enough in front to make it extremely diffiuclt for the dockers to get back into the game. The few positives from the game was the outstanding form of Kennedy, Priddis and that Embley got through the game safely and will be better for the hitout and that we have a decent break now and don't have to travel for the next game which will hopefully allow Glass at least to recover and Cripps debut was sound. What I found puzzling however was why pick Lycett and then give himn very little game time, not much point playing a big second ruckman if you're not going tp give them the game time necessary to give Cox a decent breather I would have thought but no excuses the dockers second half was terrific and they're much improved again and pearce is potentially an outstanding pick up but don't go off soon on the recruit of the year tag hopefully Wellingham once he gets up and going will prove to the be the extra gun the Eagles need. |

When will the Richmond faithful start posting their excitement? 24 hours until the next disappointment.

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Stories with happy endings do not start with the words - "I'm on Richmond for plenty" |

this is the year ..top 4 looms imo

Here they go again ........... same story every year.
Carlton just win, its about as regular as Santa popping up on December 25 |
|

I think Richmond need to win this game if they want to finish 9th this year..........

Poor Tiger fans, so desperate for success they celebrate a betting plunge as a victory. A fool and his cash are easily parted, in this case many fools.

By:
anyone gonna be taking the $5 odds multi specials Betfair are throwing out? Max stake $20, only need to land 1 in 5 to break even, don't think that will be too much to ask I think I'll be getting on board these specials.
|
|
By:
And I'm on, Blues/Lions $20 @ 5 and Souths/Storm for the same in the NRL. Over the course of the season should come out on top.
|
|
By:
How can the blues kick enough score? Not enough up forward, have some ball winners but no pace in there. When it rebounds the yellow & black will be too good going forward
2 games so far this year, outside pace wins both games, get used to following that system in 2013 |
|
By:
Plenty of jokes about Tigers. Personally I believe the hype that the roar is back. Other supporters are free to joke but they will be sh!tting themselves when their team plays the Tiges this year.
|
|
By:
No pace? Murphy, Judd, Simpson, Garlett, Yarran, Betts and Walker aren't exactly slow and Cotchin up against the best tagger going around. Deledio has Gibbs to worry about. If Cotchin and Dildo don't star who in their midfield can break the game open?
