Match of the round the Western derby, expect both to be right in the mix this year. At current odds the bets would be the Pies, the Blues and the Suns worth a stab perhaps. A painful year ahead for the Saints I would think, era well and truly ended.

Well done to anyone who backed the bombers I couldnt have backed them last night in a fit. I didn't think the Crows would be giving up the opener at home especially after a fast start like that. Think sanderson would be ropable, but all credit to james Hird and the Bombers Jobe watson was outstanding, just an amazing effort by the team given the circumstances leading into the season.

Am a bit worried about the Eagles Rosa, Naitanui, Wellingham, Kerr are critical to the eagles chances long term, let alone today, the betting is starting to reflect the fact that the dockers have to be favourites,not saying the eagles can't win this butthere is a huge responsibility now on shoulders of the likes of scooter the shue man, gaff, masten, cripps etc to really go to the next level and provide the necessary quality supply for Kennedy, Darling, Le cras, hill, embley etc if we can turn 2-2 after four rounds with those key injuries I'll be very happy.
