I followed racing from 1980 roughly to about 1997 and then from about 2004 until now

For longevity TT should be there, but thats it, he was a very very good horse but most overrate him because of his longevity. Head to head both at their  best I would be on Bletchingly

The reason I started this was because I thought a gutsy horse like Manikato might beat Black Caviar ... I doubt whether any of the others could

and I picked the Valley because Manikato loved it there and BC has also won there twice

even the hussler was pretty smart over 12 (rawiller in the saddle not nikolic who was on the job a lot earlier than most know about...imo... gave the hussler a sore back)

got a long memory hopeful !! Undue was v. v. quick and once upon a time i gave it a top 5 rating over 1200m. STill absolutely eclipsed by BC now though.

it had an unsuitabble racing pattern undue. when it won oakleigh plate it was actually last on the turn !!!! ... but when track cond. was suitable for backmarkers.... whoosh.

With all due respect Mr Very, as good SOME of those were, they don't make the top field, Undue, Scenic Blast, Swiss Ace Barley A Moment & Gold Edtion would make 3rd tier, the other 3 5-6 &7th emergencies
