if they're free ... just post them up on a thread on sat'dy

Nothing is free.

In order to get these "free" markets you have to tell your life story to them no doubt, email address and phone number....both infinitely more valuable to them then the normal subscription price, I can tell you.

So get the free ratings and spend a lifetime ignoring their emails, texts and phone calls.

Sounds like a sh&t deal to me.

Danehill such negativity. No sh&t deal, no life story, no phone number just an email so the spreedsheet can be forwarded and I'll give you a 100% guarantee that if you don't contact Laynback then they will NOT make any contact with you. I will also guarantee that your email will not be sent or shared with anyone.I know it might be rare in the racing game but this is simply a chance for people to get a look at the ratings for free. No hidden agenda. If you don't like then it's only cost you an email.

Fair enough Getitright, hard not to sweep everyone with the same broom in this racing game.

You may be one out of the box, but all the other bombard with endless postal mails, emails, phone calls, texts, sometimes see them standing outside my window when taking a shower

... fair enough GIR

but if its free
and they dont contact you after your email
and they dont sell/share your email addy

then to promote the service offered ... which i assume is the reason for this thread

then why not just post the free tips on a new thread on sat'dy morning

you can then tell at a glance how many "views" the thread gets
and if successful ... you might get a subsciber or two

waiting for someone to offer their email might get you nothing as a promotion

remember ... dom beirne gives HIS free on BF on a sat'dy Wink

I understand your point Thebas. Advertising experts will tell you never offer anything for nothing because people tend not to treat it seriously but if they pay then they are very particular about the info.. I wanted to see how many replies we would get offering a free set. I'm not interested in views because that tells me nothing about how many people have genuinely had a good look. For example over 200 have viewed this thread and only two have asked for a free set. My aim is to have a small client base that I can help educate to be better punters. If people can't take the time to email then they are probably not open to change anyway and that's fine. I want people to read the website and get a free set if they are serious about looking to improve their punting. I, like many others have been banned by nearly all the corporates so this is my next step. I know this is a mongrel industry where you trust no one but I gave my word there is no hidden agenda and where I come from that means something. So if I get 200 enquiries that's great and if I get 2 well that's great as well. Re DB I know you don't pay but that doesn't necessarily mean he does it for FREE.

Losses are the overheads of home trading." Gary Johnson

Is that the same Gary Johnson who was selling his wares on the punters show?

Hi Gary

I was just wondering what a block who lives in a unit at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane
knows about markets and ratings?

Also was wondering what makes you feel you can come on here
and spam your service?

Finally, is it because you reside in a street called Goodwin St
that you are in fact lucky Gary and a good win is assured for those who follow?

found this review when Gary Johnson was selling his tips on the punters show
he is no longer selling his tips on that site

so maybe he is trying here

anyway this is what i found on another forum

Gary's review - Bye-bye March

Gary Johnson has been brutal in his personal assessment of his start with the Punters Show.

Gary has been on board for a month now with the results opposite to what we all expected and what he has built up over the last few years and this is his review of the proceedings …

“Well, thank God that March has gone!

What an absolute shocker. Let’s face it; there is simply no way to flower it up except to be blatantly honest.

I came on board The Punters Show with very high expectations, expectations that I rightly placed on myself based on over three years of very solid profits.

I am not like many services that are happy to get paying members and don’t give a gelati about the results.

I am as passionate about my members winning as I am about my own success and as such I take it very personally when I have a bad month.

Perhaps in my endeavour to promote and market this product to the public, I pushed races too far and forced opportunities that in hindsight I should have left.

and something else i found:

He is a nobody as best as I can tell. He popped up on their site spruiking his ratings product to all and sundry as some magical formula he had developed while working for a company that he kept calling Humbletons... apparently he meant Humbleton or something, but given that he couldn't get the name right suggests he either made it up or must be a complete imbecile to not know the name of them (judging by his results since selling them, its probably the latter).

This magical set of analysis/ratings that he had developed claimed to win 46 out of 52 weeks last year, but since going live hes lost 4 out of 5 weeks, and 9 out of 10 meetings.

If you ask me he either never worked for who he claims or he did they were ven bigger idiots for paying him for what he does.

but of course maybe the gary Johnson selling his tips on the punters show

is not the same gary johnson who is registered as the domain owner of laynback.com

had to laugh when i found this blurb prior to his whitewashing from selling tips in march 2012
this blurb is dated feb 12

Alert - New product for Melb / Bris

We are proud to start promoting Gary Johnson’s ratings, please read on for details and examples.

As we introduced on this week's show, Gary is a professional punter who has honed his skills with 12 years of work with Humbleton.

In that time Gary has studied what goes into to making a successful, winning punter and what are the primary factors that makes a horse win.

Gary is now firmly focused on bringing that to the Punters Show audience with his outstanding assessments and ratings for both Melbourne and Brisbane of a Saturday.

“I have found basically you need good information, good money management skills, patience & the right mind set,” Gary said

“I spent five years building up a statistical data base that is designed on the simple premise of what it takes for a horse to win.

“I use this combined with my own analysis to create a figure from which I then produce a market.

“So the final figure comes from what the advanced computer programme spits out based on all kinds of statistical data then with the polish put on it from going over the form myself.

“Since starting the database my system has shown a profit every year and there is no reason to expect anything other than that continuing.

“Last year we won on 46 of the 52 weeks and we are always around that figure and will be again this year.”

Like any product we will market on the, endorse and promote on the Punters Show it has to pass our scrutiny and has to be a fully professional service.

After strong recommendations from some highly respected punters, we started following Gary’s work and are happy to give it our seal of approval.

“Gary’s figures are very, very solid and I am sure they will be an asset for anyone looking for an edge of a Saturday in Brisbane and Melbourne,” Marc Lambourne said.

Another great endorsement for Gary is that the greatest challenge he now faces is getting on.

“My greatest challenge these days isn’t finding winners but getting on,” he said.

“I’ve either been barred or turned down to a maximum return of about $1,000 with all of the joints I bet with,” he said

“There is nothing I would like to see more than by the end of the first 12 months that we have a stack of people barred from the corporates because they have been marked as winning punters too hard to beat.

“I reckon that will be the case.”

oh well ... and not even a free set on the Forum this Saturday to pass the time inbetween races

I know tipping sites are a dime a dozen but I've had success over the last few months with one called laynback.com  They seem to come up with some good value . Look, for what it's worth, it's worth a look.

It's not hard to see why there are soooooooo many con artists walking around with collar and ties in ausstralia when you get this first hand evidence of that organisations competence.
