A very tough task for the cats when they cut it to 20 and 21 points a couple of times freo would have folded inthe past , a great effort by them win, lose, or draw, all I can say is where was this level of effort against the crows a few weeks ago.
Don't worry if anyone can find a a way to stuff up what should be a bright future for a club it is the dockers they excell at farking up opportunities.

St Kilda were exactly the same for years before Lyon arrived. You didn't have to be a genius to see this was possible at Freo, in fact if you wished to pull up a thread from Feb/Mar, you might just find it was predicted

On form they have been up there with hawthorn last 3 months of the season..as Lyon game plan become more bedded in..don't know how u can say only derbies...

About mid season I suggested that Freo was the big improver late in the season. Wasn't a whole lot of support in this forum, would quite like to drag that thread up now.

Is it intensity or belief Lets? Playing with the swagger of a gun team. If confidence was a drug Freo would be high as kites right now. Not scared one bit of this moment, they're embracing it.

Every time Geelong have tried to raise a big effort Freo have looked them in the eye and pushed them away. Most impressive, if they reproduce this next week they are in a prelim final, albeit they run into a train at that point

I'm talking about over the years ted, they have always had an unhealthy preoccupation with the eagles rather than concentrating on winning games they should never ever lose and then they would come out and play ten levels above themselves against the eagles and fail to reproduce that level of effort and intensity and that had been going on for years and you know it

Two faves rolled so far, can't see it happening again this arvo. Be interesting to see how the hot conditions affect the way the game is played. Can't see the Kangas being able to run hard up and back on the big ground like they do under the roof at the Dome. West Coast and unders is my play here. Freo was obviously the big upset this week, Swans no surprise for mine and the other 2 games were predictable other than the margin in the West Coast game, I would've thought 10 goals
