Amidst the doom and gloom I thought I would report a positive story.
Got contacted today by Steven Bedwell of Luxbet because I opened an account with them last week and he wanted to give me a point of contact.
During our conversation I mentioned I had missed the $250 start up bonus for reasons that escaped me. Within 2 minutes it was in my account!
Long live Luxbet. Seems they have the right attitude to customer relations, at least for now.

This was the answer I got:
Chris, There is no set limit, our racing/sport bookmakers are the ones that determine that. We have customers that bet in the tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars on sport events and hold large bets on racing also. It is a hard question that has no exact answer but we will try and accommodate the best we can depending on the event. Regards, |

Like you, and forgive my presumption, I am a cynic first. I will believe what I experience rather than what they tell me. First impressions were good, but truth will out. On a side note, I nearly fell off my chair today. I think my TAB account just got restricted as well. I can still go to an agency and bet anonymously, but who the hell wants to do that every day??? |

CrazySnake...why would you accept the $250 when they have a $500 free bet openly advertised on the internet? Luxbet have become one of the worst bookmakers...their promotions are now garbage...their odds updates are too slow....and you will get barred or forced to accept tote prices only. They were good once but not now.

My intent behind this thread was to show I wasn't averse to giving credit where it was due. It appears I have gone off a bit early.

Luxbet have been great until recently when they downgraded all harness meetings to mid tote rather than have some best of NSW / Vic, so now they're no different to the rank and file corps.
