How old is your dog ATP?
If he/she has arthritis and older than 2 then you should think about retiring it now. Arthritis no bar to a dog performing if treated right but not fair on an older hound, where is the problem ATP,hips, hocks? |

He's just turned 2, and only has it in one hock. Robbie thinks he's worth continuing with, he just doesn't have the time. |

Move him then if that is the case, very young to suffer that.Try and see if copper or gold injections directly into his hock will help him.
Are you sure it is arthritis and not maybe a chipped bone, have you had him scanned or xrayed? |

I had a dog once, trained by Dale Browney. Don't send him/her there! And that advice to you came a lot cheaper than I got it for.

I know he had a hock injury which has brought this on, don't know if they tried the injections. |
