if she's a mudlark as moody thinks, expect a huge win, horses who idle to the finish tend to ease up for some reason, hence you have big margins with the beaten brigade on heavy tracks, nolan will keep her going.
i seen her cranbourne heavy 10 trial in driving rain, looked like she was walking on water

Different when a horse is under pressure.Thats when you see the real wet trackers.BC has never been out of first gear, let alone been under pressure ,except in Sydney when chasing Hay List, and once in Melbourne(a little bit of pressure, not much though).Didnt see her trial, but spare me if your gunna tell me thats a true indication of her wet track ability.ps-All guess work.If she is a Mudlark, will probably win by as much as Nolen wants to,if she doesnt stretch out properly, wont win.If she's ok in it,she will probably win.

No way Moody would run her if he had any concerns about her handling the track he's hasnt taken her all the way over there to get btn by some Pommie slug, Whiskers the only way she gets beaten if she breaks down or bleeds and williams said when the track last night that it was only an australian slow and it definitely dried out as the day went on yesterday.

Most horses that have a bit of class about them will travel though heavy ground, whether or not
they can quicken on it is a different matter.
I'm more interested in the fact that the heavy ground will now make it much more a test of
stamina rather than speed, they will go quick early despite the ground and that coupled with the
fact she will be climbing for the majority of the 6f is going to make things interesting imo.

What sort of action they have i.e a high knee action will suit soft ground a low daisy cutting
action will require top of the ground.
A horses action is determined by his conformation which is passed on from it's sire/dam.

exactly topfarrier she traveled as good as a horse can travel in winning that Trial at Cran and i marked her on my notes likely to handle heavy plus shes bred to handle it but all that said its one thing to travel under a brutus the barber beefcake stranglehold in a trial going 50-70% or whatever vs doing it under extreme pressure in a race.
Also even if her father was a mudder and mother was a mudder it don't mean shes going to be a mudder.
Lets Elope regarding P.Moody knowing is she can handle wet i have seen Moody enter many horses on Heavy tracks and comment before the race he thinks they will get through it to only see them tail of 20+ Lengths out the back.

Moody wouldnt scratch after going all that way even if he thought she might be suspect in wet.
I think she will handle it well & she looks fit (saying that i won't be backing her)

The real wet track sires have stood the test of time.Have them tatooed to my brain and never stray when betting on wet tracks, cause they always produce. You can see who they are,by the amount of runners they have in winter time..TOY PINDARRI's--all swim better than flipper-LACYMA CHRISTI's, THE PUG-EIRE,MOOKTA_swimmers -then there are all the old favourites like, PLUSH,BONHOMIE,MARWINA,MARSCAY,CANNY LAD,theres lots of them.My brain is really slow, but they were all swimmers ,and most of their progeny swim, but there can be mis matches with mares and sires and also the place where horse are trained can have a big bearing of whether they can go in it.Usually big lanky horses flounder, and nuggety types love it.Thats just my opinion. But has worked for me over time.
