Co2 is causing greening of arid areas aacross the globe

http://www.principia-scientific.org/rising-carbon-dioxide-levels-causing-desert-greening.html

Up until now the negative aspects of rising levels of carbon dioxide have been highlighted in almost all studies conducted on this matter.

A new study, based on satellite observations, CSIRO, in collaboration with the Australian National University (ANU) reported that the rising levels of carbon dioxide have caused deserts to start greening and  increased foliage cover by 11 percent from 1982-2010 across parts of the arid areas studied in Australia, North America, the Middle East and Africa.

"In Australia, our native vegetation is superbly adapted to surviving in arid environments and it consequently uses water very efficiently," CSIRO research scientist, Dr Randall Donohue, said in a press statement. "Australian vegetation seems quite sensitive to CO2 fertilization."

Elevated carbon dioxide levels affect the photosynthesis process of a leaf causing it to consume less water to convert sunlight into sugar.

This leads to plants in arid environments increasing their number of leaves.

This increase in the number of leaves can be easily detected by satellites since foliage cover is less in arid areas when compared to wet locations.

alarmists suggested that the world is ending because of co2

AND THEY WANT TO TAX & TRADE IT

with many arid parts of australia benefitting from increased levels of co2

then the clive palmer (coal miner lol) introduction of an ETS bill to the senate would put him in the drivers seat to

enhance the arid parts of the globe immeasurably when australia is finally absorbed into the global cartel of rorters

by digging up more and more and more coal  Laugh

in fact when the international climate program (the one that has nothing to do with the environment anymore) encapsulates all the sucker nations then

only the rich and currently established coal miners can dig up as much as they want ... (as long as someone pays)

could you imagine the uproar if an industry was found to have killed 28,000 birds

i mean imagine of it was co2 that was the culprit

the condemnation would be swift from environmentalists

but little has been heard or discussed yet about this following tragedy

Emerging solar plants scorch birds in mid-air

Federal wildlife investigators who visited the BrightSource Energy plant last year and watched as birds burned and fell, reporting an average of one "streamer" every two minutes, are urging California officials to halt the operator's application to build a still-bigger version.

The investigators want the halt until the full extent of the deaths can be assessed.

Estimates per year now range from a low of about a thousand by BrightSource to 28,000 by an expert for the Center for Biological Diversity environmental group.

but the mindless comment from the renewables director beggars beleif Confused

It's hard to say whether that's the location or the technology," said Garry George, renewable-energy director for the California chapter of the Audubon Society. "There needs to be some caution."

.......  ffs .... the location ... you moron .... so we have to put up road signs for birds locations now ... please dont fly in front of solar panels

The ones not making outrageous claims.  Can rule out any that predicted the world would have ended by now, and the ones that claimed half the worlds population would be under water.  Also rule out the ones claiming rapid temperature rises and no ice left.
Can definitely rule out any report that states "97%" of anything, as it is a load of rubbish.

As for the other, here is an interesting exert from Bill Clinton's autobiography, you know, that American president guy?

"Just a month before, Apollo 11 astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong had left their colleague, Michael Collins, aboard spaceship Columbia and walked on the moon...The old carpenter asked me if I really believed it happened. I said sure, I saw it on television. He disagreed; he said that he didn't believe it for a minute, that 'them television fellers' could make things look real that weren't. Back then, I thought he was a crank. During my eight years in Washington, I saw some things on TV that made me wonder if he wasn't ahead of his time."

I don't need to prove it didn't happen.  People need to prove it did.  Vision admitted to being faked, certainly doesn't do it for me.  And pictures showing the tracks of the rovers, of both the USA and Soviet Union (who I don't believe have landed man on the moon, yet somehow has pictures proving they have?) certainly isn't enough.

Either way, for some reason, you believe that proving it happened, somehow proves all the bullsiht you are spouting about climate change?

Very compelling evidence.

Congratulations to you.

The majority of the world believe it happened because it did.

If you do not believe this  it is up to you to provide the evidence it didn't

The evidence it did is already out there.

No, the majority of the world believe it happened because they don't believe that people lie and simply believe whatever they are told.

The majority of people in voting nations, vote, thinking that somehow having somebody different in power will change anything for the better for anybody but those they are voting in.
That doesn't happen either.

So you actually believe, that the most extraordinary feat of mankind, ever, is not able to be replicated now with a world wide network of computer power, when all it needs is the computing power of a musical birthday card, simply because they misplaced the data required to send them there?

They CAN'T send man to the moon today.  SO how in fcuk could they 50 years ago?

China, has the goal to try and get there by mid 2020s.  They are getting to the moon now, but still a decade away in their plans from attempting it.

Yeah right.  The only thing in the last 2,000 years that can't be replicated.

Yep, and Jesus Christ, the disciple of John the Baptist, was sent to Earth by God to be followed..  LaughLaughLaugh

There have been SIX human landings on the Moon, between 1969 and 1972:

the historic Apollo 11 (1969), Apollo 12 (1969), Apollo 14 (1971), Apollo 15 (1971), Apollo 16 (1972) and Apollo 17 (1972). Each landing delivered two astronauts to the surface, with a third one waiting for them in lunar orbit.
There have been three more flights to the Moon: the lunar fly-by of Apollo 8 in 1968 to beat the Soviets, the Apollo 10 "general rehearsal" of a landing without actually landing (1969) and the "successful failure" Apollo 13 (1970) which had slight technical difficulties was badly damaged by an explosion during the flight, but managed to get the astronauts back to Earth alive. There is a (mostly accurate) movie with Tom Hanks about it.
Each of the last three flights, 15, 16 and 17, carried the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), an electric car frame with wheels which allowed astronauts to get several miles away from the landing site and

............................................................................................

All these were faked were they? 6 maned landings different people....different people in the control room

different people everywhere ...all keeping the lie quiet.

Why hasn't at least one of the thousands of people involved came out and told the world about this lie and

become rich and famous?
