I would be interested to hear other people's experiences on the roulette table. I was tempted in by a free bet and, after some initial success, lost 18 out of 19 bets. I know for a fact that for the final 13 bets (all losers), I was backing black, increasing my stake each time to cover my losses. Red came up 12 times and zero once. Only on the 14th spin did the table allow me to win - and that was only because my account would otherwise have been empty. The next night I was allocated a free bet and backed red - of course, it came up black.
It took Derren Brown more than nine hours to flip 10 consecutive heads - I managed 12 reds and a zero (ie not blacks) in four minutes. Would I have been allowed to win 12 out of 13 games if I'd been backing red? Of course not. I don't believe it's a random number generator that controls the outcome.
The bottome line is that I'm never going near the roulette table again.

you are an idiot. WHY DO THEY NEED TO RIG IT FFS !?!
Report soixanteneuf March 26, 2009 5:17 PM GMT
these are highly addictive and the government should ban all of them outright, my main complaint has been for years that you should be made to stand in a booth similar to the photo booths for the ones in the bookies !!!..people stand around watching you bet , having an opinion...if someone leant over my shoulder and told everyone that i was having 100 notes on trap 3 i would knock him out ..why is the roulette any different?

as for on bet fair they are a joke and it is morally wrong for any organisation to prey on people like this bad sadly morally is not illegally...wake up mr brown we have a country addicted to these bloody terminals ....HELP !!!!!!!

I learned the hard way, after buidling up from nothing to around 40k at poker in a few months, blew 21k in an hour or two at the online roulette, covering around 12-15 of the numbers, I went 50+ spins with only 2 'wins'....obviously uping my stake each time....what a rig.
Haven't played it online since and that was in 2005 and it feels good!

I used to manage a Bookmakers, once watched a guy place 100 quid on black on the FOB machine, spin after spin....11 reds, a black, 8 reds before he gave up! Farce

21k in a few hrs on roulette, i can't imagine how that felt.

had a spare 5 mins on my dinner break and a spare £20, 6 STRAIGHT REDS and 2 mins later had zero balance. Rigged defo. Online Arcade & Casino are a printing money machine for betfair and other online bookies and should be looked into in more detail by the regulators.**!

Had the same experience... as everybody here... but the truth still is... the ball has no memory... how random can u let a computer pick numbers??
Report sportsnut September 9, 2009 6:29 PM BST
I also believe the Arcade games and casino are rigged. Try playing the Deal or No deal, all high $ values disappear quickly and you end up losing money all the time. Baccarat, Roulette are rigged too as the outcomes are "randomly" in favour of the house.

There is no point in rigging roulette. The bookie will win enough without it being rigged.
Report total gambler September 15, 2009 1:18 AM BST
they keep the bookies above water mate
Report Hopeless bettor September 16, 2009 9:57 PM BST
I think you misunderstood what I said, there is no point in a bookie rigging it :-)
Report Hopeless bettor September 16, 2009 9:58 PM BST
Human psychology is enough rigging, needs no more.
Report Jazza September 17, 2009 6:04 PM BST

Iv made $25 from it but playing minimum stakes and only doubling when i lose. Some close calls to $0 so not going near it.

I used to play the roulette in bookies. Had some good days and some really bad days. (more bad days).

These games are highly addictive and should be taken out of the shops!

There is only ever 1 winner thats why they are there!!
Report thebandit November 1, 2009 4:18 PM GMT
Thing is people are stupid enough to still play the f.uckers. If people stopped playing them they wouldn't be there!!!

I agree though that they need to be taken away from them having seen various people stick 20 quid after 20 quid in them and not win!!!
Report ricko23 January 2, 2010 11:23 PM GMT
Thing is , because so many people now bet online instead of in the local shop, these machines keep the local shop afloat and stop them from shutting down.
Report rolluphelga1 January 3, 2010 4:08 PM GMT
of course they are rigged if you think otherwise you are mentally unstable FACT.

Report Tipster Shark February 12, 2010 4:32 PM GMT
Course Roulette is rigged! In the bookies especialy it has a win % pay out just like a bandit in a pub. they are there to make money. Only 1 winner!

They are fun but addictive. Dont play them and you wont regret it.

Yeah, defiantly not a level playing field, played many times, often winning on small stake and constantly losing when upping bet to a higher stake.

Dazzerk, The formula: £1 +to £2 +to £4 + £8, and so on as you go up £1 a time has been around for a while. These online games will be programmed to detect betting styles. And with this being one of the most commonly practised ways of "Cheating the system", Its no surprise they don't let players win free money. If your using online casino games my advice to you is just to have a punt with as much as you can afford/are prepared to lose, maybe over 2-3 bets. Don't try and play by any form of strategy because unfortunately its all been thought of before and is programmed to beat you.
Report BlufDaddy November 27, 2010 2:24 PM GMT
The level of stupidity in this thread is breathtaking.  Did none of you do maths at school?

There is no need to rig roulette, there is no need to detect betting patterns, and there is no legal system that can beat the game because every single bet you can possibly place is a long term losing bet.
