I would go for under (unless we get a repeat of 2010).

Will be interesting to see how the 4.2 National TurfTrax rides ...

I see Childrens List has no named jockey yet - Mullins often leaves it v late until making a decision (usually morning of race),

surprised to see both Pendra and Vicente going forward

Oh, he's got to have his runners in the race. That's what is wrong nowadays, a few wealthy owners dictating what runs !!

I hope they all run but I thought Vicente was out and Virgilio and Childrens List doubtful .

they probably worked out Vintage Clouds couldnt get a run as not enough were going to come out so decided to run anyway

if VC had been number 41/42 might nave been different

I too am very surprised that Vincente is declared.......so long as they make their mind up before 1pm tomorrow one way or another .

some may disagree (and fair enough if you do) but Thunder And Roses could be a real sleeper if he gets in as R1 - has had a terrible season so far (though hasn't got on well w jockey / blinkers) - was going v well when brought down last yr in this race, JJ Slevin fresh from winning Irish National switches on him, rode the horse to a solid 4th in Irish Nat last yr

Agree with you ffs but it was early last year the jockey was knocked off. Also agree about the jockey but this is another horse you don't seem to know what is going to turn up. If the same horse turned up that has contested the last 2 Irish Nationals it would take a lot of beating.

I should have said the 2016, 2017 Irish Nationals !!
