Oh dear mr smith, two giginstown horses waiting to get in
on silly weights. ROAD TO RICHES has beaten minnella rocco off level weights .... 20lb pull now ..... pmsl. Thunder and roses needs soft the other needs good .
Odds on a gigginstown withdrawal further up the weights
To get the bottom in ..... its been done before
and all depends on the weather !

Cheekpieces instead of those horrible visors MAY make the difference! ... (Visors are for Flat horses only, surely !?)

FFS, Isn't that just the problem. Same with Houblon des Obeaux. I class them as all or nothing horses, either will be in the first 4 or nowhere to be seen. Unfortunately they can make us look stupid at times.

some times you know they're not going to win though, so patience for the going days is required - Rule The World, he was one :)

I bet Rule The World and earmarked him after his Irish Nat 2nd but he was a younger horse and a lot more consistent.

He was a very good horse,

the Irish Nat seemed to take a lot out of Thunder - last yr he found his form though and was going really well in this when taken out of it - this yr has been v disappointing but his 4th in Thyestes showed something - I do know he was being trained for this race + Irish Nat though (funnily he actually went all the way round Fairyhouse and finished 8th w/out Ms Lisa) - I'm v hopeful, there will surely be one too good, but he can place / if it cuts up badly he could win.

I'm hoping the jockey change will be for the better because last year with Davy Russell on board in the Bobbyjo it jumped great and was only just touched off by Pleasant Company at levels and Baie des Iles was left a distance behind.
