Anyone think that this horse might run a real good race in the National?

He has been kept away from Cheltenham, presumably with this in mind, and on some good ground he has to be very fairly handicapped.

He's always shaped like a lazy horse that has plenty under the bonnet and has usually responded well to a jockeys urgings. He shaped beautifully on reappearance, coming home late but struggled in Grade 1 company since. He hasn't had much nice ground to go on and I'm convinced he is better on it (excellent Spring form around Cheltenham) and I'd be interested in him for this if I could guarantee he runs.

I'd love Davy Russell to ride him as he understands the horse and how he responds- he understands the laziness and that will be a huge help in the early part of the race if he can lob along  in midfield without using much energy.
