I think he has National written all over him - not sure whether he will be entered but I have my fingers crossed tightly, obviously on the face of it there seems to be serious stamina issues with this horse... but cant get around his run in the Skybet Chase... came from a long way to nearly grab the spoils.
What I like about this horse he is a relentless galloper and he can jump, and very easily gets into a rhythm. Only one bookie betting on him but for me I hope he gets declared for this marathon trip... think he is more than capable on his going day.
Owner Hywel Jones - you took a gamble on 3m and was right... I am hoping he starts pondering further ...
He's very consistent and the Handicapper knows him, but he makes so many mistakes and even with the much easier fences you'd want odds against him actually completing for a start.

Buywise will be entered in the Grand National @AintreeRaces after having surprised @EWilliamsRacing @DoncasterRaces. Not for me but this should make you happy IDB

I know Buywise has had a different jock for the last two races, but assuming he has Paul Moloney back on for the National he'd be a fun bet. Moloney's National record is insane - hasn't he been placed in the last six nationals, or 6 of the last 7?
Williams knows what he is doing with the race too. Always has something showing up at the end.

Bit annoying headline page on racing post - surely price will start to shorten ... which will be a shame...
But owner got odds of 350/1 on Saturday for the Grand National, when I checked betfair on Sat/Sunday saw 94/1 and thought it was a bit short considering...
but you snooze you lose!

Possible jockey Paul Moloney has finished in the first 4 places for the last 7 years in a row! so i def hope that he gets the ride on this horse! outstanding record for a race of this nature where so much luck is involved

Why on earth were they such huge outsiders in the betting then? even mystic meg with her magic crystal ball would have struggled to pick out either of those two winners

Yeah Auroras was a good stats horse. I backed both of them Ante Post as did loads on here m8. They were hardly from fashionable yards with big owners maybe that had something to do with it.

I was on course that day and I'm pretty sure he was like a 40/1 chance for the week running up and I was in disbelief when it was resulted SP 100/1.
Auroras Encore was a real spring horse, second in a Scottish National.
There really aren't many in the field of 40 that you wouldn't look back at their form if they won come Saturday evening and found nothing in there to suggest they could win it.

PAUL MOLONEY aboard - can't really complain with that
Did an EACH WAY on him @66s
I know it's the national but I am really happy with my bet... Wouldn't swap him for anyone...

trainer was unconvinced about the distance last time out in the Skybet Chase - but ran on the insistence of the owner... he did say owner proved him wrong.
The national again is owners initiative... but a horse that was running on like a train in the Skybet does suggest stamina may not be as a bigger issue than what has been suggested.

Strange interview with trainer and jockey beforehand... were so negative about the horses chances... never seen that where they were wondering why they even turned up...
Anyway, rain scuppered his chance totally - as stamina came into play because of the soft ground... disappointing as I thought id get the place at least!

If the losing betting slips on Grand National runners which "stay forever and jump super" were piled up, the litter would reach to top of the stands. Buywise? Doesn't even qualify on either of thee score.Convert the GN into a manageable problem by eliminating the 3 mile chasers (no matter how good) which have never shown any sign of staying 3m4f let alone the GN distance. Over the years you will show a profit.
