This is one I have come round to fairly late on but have got involved at 66/1. This is a horse that has won an Eider Chase and won a Grand National trial at Punchestown. It gets in off a low weight, and is a big price because it comes from an unfashionable yard. Came second in a National trial at Punchestown in Feb before a no-show in the Eider later that month. Showed its wellbeing with a pleasing prep in a handicap hurdle in March so should be spot on for this.
Hi MC , I have this one marked out as well but my enthusiasm was tempered a little after speaking to Denis O'Regan at Haydock on Saturday, he seems to think the horse must have soft ground ( I know it has won on good ) , and that looks unlikely as we get nearer the race. Good luck though, hope you enjoy a profitable meeting.
