I like him a lot, though the race is a lotto, you can only discount a handful in this field i do think (hope) we are due a fancied runner to score and this one just might be it. It is imo the classiest renewal there has ever been too and so barring mishaps chances of winner coming from top 6 in betting is greatly increased. Yeah, barring mishaps? In this race? LOL
![]() Thorough stayer, Welsh National winner, nice weight, yep jumping is a worry though if he gets into a rhythm and is still bang there running to the last he is bound to be in the 4! |

Why has this drifted to 32?
|
|
By:
38 now! I smell a rat!

Trades to a high of 42 - some serious spoofing going on
|

I would lay my whole ante post off him if i could now.
Is he pulling out. |
|
By:
a horse that was almost favourite yesterday is now over 30,
makes me want to back him imo ![]() |

By:
Surely can't win on that drift
|
|
By:
No indication the reason for the drift, all the better to be honest, I'm on at best odds guaranteed.

and now back into 22.

ran well, was clearly over-backed and hence the drift. Plenty of others were all over the place in the betting market too
|
|
By:
Yeah ran well, not sure did stamina give away or did the others just quicken away? Either way, wasn't good enough in the last couple of furlongs having run well up until that point. A few errors on the second circuit probably didn't help either.

I was wondering myself if the leaders quickened and left some of the others flatfooted.
But Monbeg Dude was badly handicapped due in part to an arithmetical error. |
|
By:
What's this arithmetical error dunlaying?

PW was on TML the other day saying how he could see Monbeg Dude developing into a Gold Cup horse. Can't see that myself.
