Calipto my nap of the day.

Really like Kaylif Aramis in the last and a working mans price at 16/1.

Not sure why there is such a big move for Activial in the first. Are people just guessing that Calipto isn't going to turn up or the new jock is going to mess up? Calipto hammered Activial on debut and hasn't done anything wrong since. Activial was impressive at Kempton but how strong was that race? Also been support for Aurore D'Estruval who even with the allowance looks as if she needs to find a stone.

Can't believe the price of Western Warhorse tomorrow. I reckon Champagne fever would be odds on and he appeared to beat him fair and square.

Lot of pressure on Scudamore tomorrow. Different game when you are expected to win. Let's see what happens.

Wouldnt have that as a concern myself. If the horse is good enough tomorrow, I doubt Tom Scu wont be up to getting him home.

Could prove to be a really good horse, and this might be the last time he will be underestimated. It felt like it was a truly run Arkle and that CF ran a great race to me.

Fancy the McCoy horse to turn over the two market leaders in the novice chase providing the rain stays away.

One bet. Have lumped on The New One since last Sunday night when the market opened. Mullins had said from Dubai that The Fly was very doubtful and Annie Power had not yet recovered from her exertions at Cheltenham. Makes you wonder about any horse that ran at Aintree. Very short turnaround time to recover for even the toughest horse. I have learnt a hard lesson re backing horses for the Grand National that have run at Cheltenham.

Will be watching for Johnjo horses in the handicaps over the few days. He seemed to have his string in great shape at Cheltenham. May be a nice touch if you see a little gamble, I think it might pay to follow him in moderation.
Report toberaheena April 3, 2014 11:56 AM BST
And a little fiver on Noel Fehily to be leading jockey at a juicy price.
