What's the story with the Spring double? Is it some old time mythical type bet down the ages or is it just something lads get worked up about on the betfair forum. Must say the idea of doubling up on the winners A/P of these two great historic handicaps has a certain grandeur about it. Fookin next to impossible though,both codes of the sport, if you can do it you're a master of the game

Cheers mate... I like these big race doubles... there's something similar running on the footy forum... the Nat and the Masters... I've had a go as usual... also done five picks in the Nat and four in the Masters... only a quid each-way cross-doubles... soon adds up though!

A 40 point profit for Bilko ! Excellent picking.

Two National places and a non-runner in the Lincoln ensured a 65% profit on steaks... highlight of my punting weekend!

i backed  off art but with a bookie that only payed 4 places,there were a few nons in the lincoln dont think many payed 5 places

good work pineau backers, a few of you got that

it says a lot that the 40 runner 4 and a half mile chase is easier to work out than your average flat race handicap

I just found a 10p e/w Tullius/Pineau De Re slip in my wallet. £1.80 I think I get back
