Clerk of the course Andrew Tulloch said: "We are currently good to soft on both courses with the hurdle course on the Mildmay nearly good. We had some snow at the weekend but that has now disappeared and we were raceable today."

No significant rain forecast before the start now, and strong winds. They will be watering for sure to keep it on the easy side of good.
Another cold dry day at Aintree, the taps were on yesterday watering both the National and Mildmay courses.
