GREAT stuff GOLD CUP WINNER, never in my sights at all, mine pulled at the last, funny sort of place to pull up, jockey afraid of being last, maybe?
|
|
By:
Well done Gold Cup Winner, hope I didn't cost you too much. Sure you had more on,with good prices morning of the race. Think easier fences helped.

Well done m8. Won 2k and I'm fretting about what might have been really, form of the yard put me off a much bigger punt.
(I backed 10 in all, so I'm not all that clever). |

HAHA amazing scenes in my house! TOTAL CARNAGE, baby screeming her head off, the remote was a whip, my 2 young sons thinking I had gone nuts, what a performance, what a horse!!! When I woke this morning and saw the sun and felt the increase in temperature, I had so much confidence. My brother asked me to put £20 e/w on for him,hes won £2K. Loads of my mates have done it as Id tipped it up in February! If anyones in West Derby village, the ale is on me!!!

Jambo - W/D sir! Sorry I only congratulated GCW
![]() I thought I might frighten you by saying I'm 5 minutes from West Derby Village ![]() |
|
By:
thanks GoldCupWinner and Jambo... I actually I bet on him when I read your thread... and the connection with the Scottish National, as I backed Aurora Encore on the day Merigo beat him... so I had to have a dabble. But thanks made it a good day.

Rare Bob ran well Shockster, I couldn't have him at all. I trust you can find it in your heart to forgive AE for beating him though?
|
|
By:
Got to be honest Cappa Bleu was my main fancy and he's the one I tipped to everyone but didn't my back up do well? Very hungover but very happy! A deserved hangover.Who says the national is a lottery?

By:
not me GCW!
it's a long distance handicap chase, that's all, 33 went out on the second circuit so the winners were the best in at the weights on the day - they didn't win because better horses fell |
|
By:
Many thanks GoldCupWinner - took 120/1 myself

well done Gold Cup Winner, great pick back in mid-March! I second this - and wd to Jambo too, Excellent stuff ! |

Cheers BarryM. Yes I thought Rare Bob ran well without ever really looking like the winner(thought it had a chance at Canal 2nd time) but AE made up for it and who can complain with a 100/1 winner. Well done to all winners
