does anyone no if joncol is considered a deffo intended starter, could be just the race for him if it doesnt dry up to much
By:
Last I read, they were aiming Joncol at the race but it depended on whether they could get his bad back right. I'm waiting for a bit more news tbh.

48 hr decs are 40 hrs to long for nolan,
, so i,ll hang fire, added cappa bleu 16,s,and r goldback 50,s to my specualitive wager on tanten,334,54,s place on here, think you might as well have a punt on a few ante post because when the bookies start chopping them the week before and theres a dozen 16,s or less you start looking at the bigger odds anyway |

Can you tell us where you got the list from? - I usually get my lists from the Aintree website but it seems to be poorly updated this year. |

Updated with absence of Prince De Beauchene, and Beshabar. Going by other threads, Tofino Bay looks more likely to head for Fairyhouse, he won't be the only one no doubt. Looking at market on here, Lion Na Bearnai looks like he's losing his battle to get fit, trainer having previously stated he was 50/50.

Quiscover Fontaine, Magnanimity & Romanesco the only Aintree entries declared for Fairyhouse at 5-day stage.
The likes of Tofino Bay, Quel Esprit and Bostons Angel have come out, likely all bound for Aintree. |
By:
after Wyck Hills announcement today, 54 left
doubts still about Lion Na Bernai and Tofino Bay Romanesco, Quiscover Fontaine and Magnanimity in Irish National and all weak on here Cloudy Bay will run in the foxhunters that makes another 7 , at this rate i dont think we will get the maximum reserves, could not even be 40 runners come the big day |
By:
Thought the trainer announced Tofino Bay doesn't run? Novice chase at Limerick?
By:
Could be 37 or 38 a this rate.
By:
confirmation of entry stage is on Monday, still time for changes
cannot believe JP will let Quiscover run at Fairyhouse on heavy when he has lost Wyck Hill and only (ahem) has two runners - there's no money trying to get on QF for the Irish either in the AP think he will run |
By:
Ok non runners = Prince de Beacheane, Beshebar, Wyck Hill, Tofino Bay, Magnaminity, Across the Bay (probably), Lion Na Bearnai (probably).
That leaves Any Currency as the last horse to get in. First reserve would be either Major Malarkey or Poker de Sivola depending on the handicapper as they currently have the same weight |
By:
Final Irish GN decs in - Magnanimity and Romanesco run at Fairyhouse but Quiscover Fontaine taken out - bound for Aintree after all.
By:
Markets suspended at 12pm tomorrow for confirmation of entries. Poker de Sivola is rated higher than Major Malarkey
By:
Be interesting to see whether either or both Magnanimity and Romanesco remain declared today, just in case of early mishap in Irish GN today - if scenario occurs then those who have laid them at 1000 are in for a nervous few days !!
By:
Magnanimity scratched this morning.
By:
Betfair already answered part of my question - Magnanimity deleted from market 30 mins before final decs declared
By:
Great minds think alike Rydal - you beat me by a nanosecond lol ...
By:
If Pokers first reserve then David Johnson could take Pipes Swing Bill out to guarantee a run ...

Which horses ahve been eliminated?
By:
Six more taken out at 5-day decs .... Magnanimity; Lion Na Bearnai; Bostons Angel; Tofino Bay; Bob Lingo; Wyck Hill, leaving 49 which guarantees Any Currency a run (reserve last yr missed out)
Poker de Sivola at 40; Major Malarkey 41 and both Soll and Romanesco remain in despite rumours to the contrary. |
By:
When do we get a market back? Plus does the old market become visible again?
By:
Is Poker de Sivola definitely at 40 rather than Major Malarkey?
By:
Just thinking the same. Is Major Malarkey not 40?
By:
Poker officially rated higher than Major, although both on same weight, so without any further withdrawals from the top 40, MM would miss out.
By:
RP saying Major Malarkey gets in at 40.
By:
JHAS is right, but they won't officially apply the "ordering by current hcap mark" until final declarations, so MM is currently at number 40, but when final decs are made on Thursday, assuming things stay as they are, MM and PDS will switch around - they're both on the same mark for the race, but PDS has the higher hcap mark on declaration day.
Then again, if one above them comes out, then MM will be 39 and PDS will be 40 as when you're inside the 40, you stick to the original order - they only use the "ordering by current hcap mark" system when horses on the same mark are inside and outside the cut off. |
