Does anybody know how far down it went last season? I fancy Any Currency but holding back because I think he will be around the cut off point...?
Report Fabulous February 17, 2013 3:22 AM GMT
Coll, Neptune Equester was 72nd on the list when the weights came out. That's roughly what it is most years.
Report McBain February 17, 2013 7:56 PM GMT
Tartak a good shout; would be rotten luck if Any Currency was the unused first reserve for the second year running.
Report Colldogg February 17, 2013 8:19 PM GMT
Cheers for the info guys. Think he has a decent chance of getting placed if he gets in. Was jumping really well until the small error that unseated Aidan Coleman in the beecher chase.

Would be good if he kept Coleman for the ride too if Venita decides that Katenko has too much weight to run.
Report Mully February 20, 2013 10:08 AM GMT
My guess, No. 60 on the list.
Report kelami February 20, 2013 1:03 PM GMT
Soll will be the last to get in i reckon.
Report Speculation March 25, 2013 9:53 AM GMT
My guess would be 9 defectors, leaving Poker de Sivola on 40... What is the latest consensus of opinion?
Report VillaBoy March 25, 2013 11:14 AM GMT
Hope you're right as I've got ew nrnb on both Any Currency and Poker De Sivola and trying to count down likely defectors. It'll be tight
Report Speculation March 25, 2013 11:24 AM GMT
I reckon a fair few of the Irish contingent will run at Fairyhouse instead, so that gives plenty of hope for all in the 40s certainly Cool
Report Speculation March 28, 2013 10:41 AM GMT
At this rate even Gullible Gordon's gonna get a run lol Grin
Report Meat Loaf March 29, 2013 7:38 AM GMT
Ok non runners = Prince de Beacheane, Beshebar, Wyck Hill, Tofino Bay, Magnaminity, Across the Bay (probably), Lion Na Bearnai (probably).

That leaves Any Currency as the last horse to get in. First reserve would be either Major Malarkey or Poker de Sivola depending on the handicapper as they currently have the same weight.
Report Regular Fries March 29, 2013 11:05 AM GMT
Are the final decs for the Irish National today or tomorrow?
Report Regular Fries March 29, 2013 11:07 AM GMT
Okay, they're just in (timing)!

Magnaniminity is entered for the Irish National.
Report governor March 29, 2013 12:51 PM GMT
Reckon if thats the case Swing Bill will be pulled out and Poker de Sivola would get a run if he gets the nod at 41 for definate and all the above are non runners

Surely Johnson will see this option as his best I hope so as off bottom weight this would have as much of a chance as Chicago grey imo
Report thieveslikeus March 29, 2013 3:10 PM GMT
What A Friend has been entered in the Bowl.
Report Speculation March 29, 2013 5:08 PM GMT
Interesting entry for What A Friend, but he hasn't drifted Confused Silviniaco Conti in the Bowl also for PFN ...
Report Rydal March 29, 2013 5:41 PM GMT
An article in the Mail on Wednesday quoted PN as saying he would be ridden by Sam Thomas in the GN unless the going is too soft for him, in which case he would switch to the Bowl. It looks as though the Bowl entry is precautionary in case they over-water.
Report Speculation March 30, 2013 11:19 AM GMT
Thanks for that Rydal, what does everyone reckon about the chances of these three lining up... Bob Lingo, Joncol and Lion Na Bearnai? I could do with Soll getting a run to balance my book Wink
Report Regular Fries March 30, 2013 12:21 PM GMT
I'd be surprised if Joncol ran given the ground is unlikely to be really soft given the way he's been wrapped in cotton wool throughout his career?
Report Speculation March 31, 2013 2:40 PM BST
I NEED some more non-runners!! Somebody please give me some hope that at least Soll, and ideally Viking Blond will run!! The prospect of too many voided lays on the balloted out horses for me at the moment Scared
Report SoYouThink March 31, 2013 3:33 PM BST
Prince de Beauchene, Beshebar, Wyck Hill, Tofino Bay and Magnaminity are all definitely out.

Lion Na Bearnai latest we heard was only 50/50 for the race.

Everything else 1-40 are intended runenrs at this point in time from what I can tell.
Report SoYouThink March 31, 2013 3:59 PM BST
Bostons Angel also a doubtful runner with Robbie Power confirmed to ride Joncol???
Report Speculation March 31, 2013 9:10 PM BST
Soll is an interesting drifter, which would help me if he wasn't declared Mischief
Report gotitwrong- April 1, 2013 12:24 AM BST
noticed soll is friendless too ,surely will be missing ?
Report runandskip April 1, 2013 12:53 AM BST
Soll probably going in the Topham
Report governor April 1, 2013 1:02 AM BST
Not a chance of getting in has he balloted out
Report jameschildshieldwinner April 2, 2013 8:15 AM BST
That was a great spot so you think. I'm surprised it was still being backed right up to 5 day dec time.
Report woodmanchester April 2, 2013 9:34 AM BST
Dont know much about it but of the top 40, dont think Pandorama, Midnight Chase, Katenko, Roi De Mee or Quito De La Roque in the betting.

Will Chicago Grey deffo get in?

Mainly, Colbert Station and Seabass for me
Report boy wonder 07 April 2, 2013 10:19 AM BST
chicago is number 27
Report woodmanchester April 2, 2013 11:32 AM BST
Thanks. According the list above, it's 49. I dont know the latest news about horses, just like a flutter on them, especially big races
Report woodmanchester April 2, 2013 11:37 AM BST
Looking at some big prices on here. 47/1 Big Fella Thanks, 50/1 Across The Bay and 69/1 Quel Esprit. Are they likely starters, please? Just seen Across The Bay doubtful
Report Shrewd_dude April 2, 2013 11:42 AM BST
I think Soll will get in. He is No. 42 instead of Backstage. Would have to think at this stage at least one possibly 2 will have setbacks/cgane of target due to ground etc. Hopefully keep him in if they are first reserve.
Report boy wonder 07 April 2, 2013 11:48 AM BST
no prob wood poker de sivola current n0. 40
Report barnesey April 2, 2013 12:04 PM BST
Is major malarkey or poker de sivola currently number 40???
Report Makybe_Diva April 2, 2013 12:24 PM BST
Think it's Major Milarkey
