Does anybody know how far down it went last season? I fancy Any Currency but holding back because I think he will be around the cut off point...?
Coll, Neptune Equester was 72nd on the list when the weights came out. That's roughly what it is most years.
Tartak a good shout; would be rotten luck if Any Currency was the unused first reserve for the second year running.
Cheers for the info guys. Think he has a decent chance of getting placed if he gets in. Was jumping really well until the small error that unseated Aidan Coleman in the beecher chase.

My guess would be 9 defectors, leaving Poker de Sivola on 40... What is the latest consensus of opinion?
Hope you're right as I've got ew nrnb on both Any Currency and Poker De Sivola and trying to count down likely defectors. It'll be tight
I reckon a fair few of the Irish contingent will run at Fairyhouse instead, so that gives plenty of hope for all in the 40s certainly

Reckon if thats the case Swing Bill will be pulled out and Poker de Sivola would get a run if he gets the nod at 41 for definate and all the above are non runners

An article in the Mail on Wednesday quoted PN as saying he would be ridden by Sam Thomas in the GN unless the going is too soft for him, in which case he would switch to the Bowl. It looks as though the Bowl entry is precautionary in case they over-water.

I'd be surprised if Joncol ran given the ground is unlikely to be really soft given the way he's been wrapped in cotton wool throughout his career?

Looking at some big prices on here. 47/1 Big Fella Thanks, 50/1 Across The Bay and 69/1 Quel Esprit. Are they likely starters, please? Just seen Across The Bay doubtful
I think Soll will get in. He is No. 42 instead of Backstage. Would have to think at this stage at least one possibly 2 will have setbacks/cgane of target due to ground etc. Hopefully keep him in if they are first reserve.
