backed him last year when i thought he was tad unlucky,backed him antepost again this year with the view he could win 2nd time around the same as the trainer did with hedgehunter, just wondering peoples opinion on his runs this season? he was brougt down over hurdles1st time out+his runs since have been shockers[even  allowing for the fact they obviously hav just the1 day in mind for him] cheers spot.

I've got a fiver e/w double going onto him for £7500 but you can't be confident. He's shown very little this year but as you say he only needs to perform for one day. It's unlikely he'll have Ruby aboard so I think 33/1 is fair e/w. He's alittle better off at the weights and he gets the distance. He just needs a good run round the first circuit to get his confidence then we can but hope and cheer!!!

cheers king,ye i think u can all but rule out ruby riding him ok.to be honest at this stage id settle for him just to line up as in his interview yesterday mullins only confirmed that the two wylie horses will def tavel. if he does go i would like to see emmet mullins get the ride as he got on very well with him over hurdles and he might get him jumping. all opinions tho only time will tell.

I have backed him,but what i can't understand is why use the gold cup as a prep run
