Unless the relevant gene is on a sex chromosome when they can be single copy inherited from one parent.

Light showers this morning and sunny intervals this afternoon at  Aintree today

I see Killyglen is well tipped up in this week's Weekender, Paul Kealy's ante post selection ( been in fine form ) Nick Mordin's final four ( Sunnyhillboy,The Midnight Club and Treacle his other three )Billy Wallace and the Trend's Selection.

Like I said before, connections have done well to maintain his handicap mark mainly following  the trend of many previous Irish winners by running over hurdles to protect a decent looking mark, then winning a chase when the handicapper cant get to him. Could well be a progressive type running off a mark well below what's its capable of.

Good Luck to everyone

One important thing no one has pointed out is that Killyglen is impervious to ground conditions - has won on heavy ground and goes well on good. Not bothered one jot what happens to the weather in the next few days
