Excellent 4th in the gold cup (running on, almost beat kauto star) seems to have been rejuvenated by blinkers. won at the meeting last year, likes the ground, and although 11.6 seems alot for the national is still 15lb well in. dual grade one winner as well, and a good jumper. cant find too many negatives, and cant fancy any of the other market leaders.

Think you are right dayjur - Class horse of the race running against quite a lot of donkeys imo.

If there were no fences this one would be nailed on......but can it get round ?

It has never fallen and pulled up only once Confused

These are big fences and unlike anything else you will see. What a Friend isn't the biggest of horses and reminds me a lot of a very good horse called Davy Lad who started favourite for a national and got as far as the third. Hope I'm wrong but I don't think this one will go clear.
