Excellent 4th in the gold cup (running on, almost beat kauto star) seems to have been rejuvenated by blinkers. won at the meeting last year, likes the ground, and although 11.6 seems alot for the national is still 15lb well in. dual grade one winner as well, and a good jumper. cant find too many negatives, and cant fancy any of the other market leaders.
id love him to win it but i have a feeling he aint gonna like this experience and spit the dummy out after about 2 fences, good luck though, hope im wrong,im a big fan of his, love these quirky types

These are big fences and unlike anything else you will see. What a Friend isn't the biggest of horses and reminds me a lot of a very good horse called Davy Lad who started favourite for a national and got as far as the third. Hope I'm wrong but I don't think this one will go clear.
