not much been mentioned about the horse on here, but with a 4th last year & 6th the year before, surely has to be there or whereabouts at the end this time around???
ground and wight should be ok for it - just the distance in question if it will stay. ferdy said done lots of stamina work so maybe graeme lee can sneak round and see it out. hopefully doesnt get too far behind like he often does on some horses

Must have a solid chance and il be backing it. He looked a non stayer 2 years ago but stayed better last year and as Master Minded proved today, as horses get older they tend to stay longer trips better. I feel this could be his year

The likely tactics are a worry, as he may get left behind if he is ridden to conserve his stamina. Surely most National winners are ridden prominently?
More subtly, if his problem is not stamina but rather, as for instance Nick Mordin has suggested, a tendency to pull himself up in front, then such tactics could make things worse by increasing the period he has no cover as he makes up ground to join the leaders. If so, he might do better being ridden just behind the front-runners.
