14 races so far at Aintree and only 1 place (Caroles Legacy).

I suppose he hasn't fired the big guns yet, but it must be a worry.

Tomorrow he has strong fancies Spirit Son, Finian's Rainbow, Binocular and Oscar Whisky - similar to Cheltenham when Bobs Worth got him his first winner on the last day.

May give the Henderson ones a swerve now; although I did fancy Oscar Whisky.

Do you think the stable is out of form, or he just hasn't had any decent runners in the first two days??

Henderson is always rank at Aintree, his focus is Cheltenham and his festival runners, if they turn up here, never perform to their best.

You expect too much the only horse they really fancied was Grandouet.

Binocular and Finian's should both win tomorrow.

Spirit Son has Sam Winner to beat.

can't remember the period of time but RUK quoted stat that he is 7-87 with horses going on to Aintree from Cheltenham.

That's ok if he gets 2 or 3 tomorrow then the stats average won't change[;)]

sam winner is a total dog, does not have the tactical speed to cope with the other 3 on this track, will be off the bridle after a mile and idiot ruby has ditched Rock on once again, nice to see such a top jockey can get it wrong at both festivals, spirit son will run riot over this lot with Rock on 2nd

Hope your right but I'm reducing my bet on him tbh if he were mines he'd be roughed off. Had a very hard race at Cheltenham.

They are simply hsrd races to win. He's had a few horses fall this week and others not running to form after the Festival which is a general trend. That said, Finian's Rainbow is a diabolical betting proposition at anything close to Evens. He's a novice, and will be whizzing round a tricky track on quick ground, and on the back of a tough race at the Festival. Binocular will give Peddler's Cross a good scrap and comes here the fresher but again I wouldn't be piling in. The one of Henderson's I think is the best value tomorrow, as he finally has his conditions, is Eradicate.

With you on Eradicate!

Haha, stable out of form eh?

I ended up backing Oscar Whisky and Finian's Rainbow; but didn't back Spirit Son.  Really taking performance and surprised how well he travelled and settled over 2m4f against a strong field.
