Any one know if he is an intended for the 4 year old Novice hurdle?

To my eyes he seemed to be travelling best 2 from home in the Triumph, and as such, he seems the most likely benefitiary of the flat track @ Aintree

Backed Grandouet in the triumph and there is no way in hell he will ever beat Zarkandar at Aintree,he is a class above and was far better than the field,if most of the above turn up then you may get 6/4 7/4 Zarkandar which is buying money
Report revedesivola April 2, 2011 2:44 PM BST
i agree tfm, watch zarkandar quicken after the final hurdle at kempton and ask urself could grandouet go with than, even though he hit the last. not a hope
Report grade 1 April 2, 2011 7:17 PM BST
ruby doesnt get ride on zarkandar by sound of it ...
Report TheFormMan April 2, 2011 7:20 PM BST
where are you getting that from?
Report wellchief April 2, 2011 7:51 PM BST
I assumed Ruby would be on Zarkandar, but maybe Nicholls wants to keep Jacob on thinking of next years Champion Hurdle, because it would be impossible for Ruby to get off the fly
Report revedesivola April 2, 2011 10:35 PM BST
yeah id say dj keeps the ride. hes been schooling him according to nicholls
Report TheFormMan April 3, 2011 5:20 PM BST
Ruby Walsh will be on Zarkandar next thursday, its not even an option for anybody else to ride
Report revedesivola April 3, 2011 5:31 PM BST
why u think that. i think daryl jacob keeps the ride
Report stormey1 April 3, 2011 6:41 PM BST
Nicholls said the other day Ruby would ride both Zarkander and Denman unless the owners requested differently which he didnt think would happen.
Report revedesivola April 3, 2011 9:28 PM BST
oh right, have u a link to that?
Report revedesivola April 3, 2011 9:40 PM BST
oh yeah, see it thanks. should win anyhow
Report mutley77 April 4, 2011 9:48 AM BST
I backed him in that first race at Cheltenham. Think he maybe another Harchibald. Comes cruising, then bombs out.
Report evra April 4, 2011 11:14 AM BST
mutley are u serious or what?
did he not just win a triumph hurdle without bombing out or dogging it u muppet
Report mutley77 April 4, 2011 11:31 AM BST
I'm not usually serious, but I think I am this time. I backed Grandouet in the Triumph(made a mistake about it being 1st race of festival) and it came cruising like Harchibald and seemed to find nothing. Zarkander beat him by about 10 lenghts. I agree I am a bit of a muppet, but at least you didn't refer to me as a mug.
