It was very close between tangerine and GEORGE.B for the second half of the month. Today there was a new name in the picture as sageform who scored with an 11/1 shot. tangerine just held on by 0.06 from sageform with GEORGE.B a close third.
Hearty congratulations are due!
The other two promoted napsters were Poppydog and Steve Voltage.
Kirriemuir was the only other winner today with a 7/4 which brought him well clear of the relegation zone.
No real hard luck stories although kkkatt would have sneaked in to the top five if his 7/1 second-placed shot had prevailed.
Commiserations to the five going down - we'll see you back here soon no doubt.

Hi George. Went for Somerton on Sunday as I needed a good price winner for promotion and was most unlikely to be relegated. The seller didn't appeal but Naval Cop had the lot. Homebred by Jeff Smith from a very speedy family and Andrew had a 7lb claimer on board who did well to get the rail. I put it up in the early morning when it was around 6/1. When I came home just before the race it was outsider of the lot so I didn't have a bet! After Item at York, the Balding yard was largely responsible for my promotion as usual.
