Congratulations to general custer who stole the title on the final day with a terrific 12/1 shot. general custer is a long time competitor in the naps divisions and he has shown himself capable of this type of surging towards the top. He was just in profit prior to the final day and 12/1 was just the right price to go for. Very well done and commiserations to sageform who had looked a near certainty after some very commendable tipping throughout the month.
Promotions apart from general custer and sageform were Fortismere, Value-Seeker and The Sawyer - well done to all. Unfortunate for timberman who scored with a 15/8 winner today and finished sixth.
