Lampus, I might be taking you on with the favourite in that race, yours has quite a bit to make up in lengths and is 6lb worse off!! Its racing though and anything can happen!! So I might look to another race and hope that yours wins

They were just not right last month or so, a few had mucky noses etc but last week or so has been a big change and they are running much better. One of ours (falaise Blanc) after 4 really disappointing runs just got beat a short head at Hamilton yesterday.
Brilliant she got that winner today at Epsom, that's massive for the yard. She has a few interesting runners over the next few days, especially Figjam tomorrow.

Bearing that in mind and that Aidan has had a couple of real outsiders win this in relatively recent year, I'm going for Action in The Derby e/w.
If anyone yet to pick wants to go for one of the more fancied horses please DO feel free to oppose your captain. I won't treat it as mutiny

I've gone for Ethical Diamond - 3.05 Ascot e/w.
Obviously likes the ground and course and stays well. Given the latter he showed a remarkable turn of foot to win The Breeders Cup Turf. It's a stronger renewal than usual of the Hardwicke but this one looks a bit long to me.

I always enjoy this comp,even though we haven't won since 2009.
Thanks to all the team for their efforts and their reliability. It seems a long time ago since Lampus and I spent most Saturdays scrabbling around for wildcards
