The second table gives a "rolling" 12 month total, that is, your performance over the previous 12 month period, you could say these are the current rankings.
In both tables,
New Players receive -10 for every month missed
Retirees get -26 for each month except players making a comeback get -10 for every month missed apart from the month they retired in

Shoemaker, with a fabulous Premier winning total of 28.50, is back on top for 2025.
Longshot Louie had a couple of big winners to score a whopping 49.00 in taking the Div 3 title. The Sawyer was Div 1 champ with 12.38, and GEORGE.B topped Div 2 with 15.24.

How about a table showing average monthly profit for everyone on here since you started keeping records? Maybe add in a proviso that only people that have a minimum of 5(?) full years posting since time zero qualify, thereby keeping the list more manageable (and give more relevant averages?). Plus an edit version listing only those that are still active? Would be a great record and will also remind us of all those posters that are sadly no longer involved... Just a thought. Hi ud , you prepare these stats every month and they make good reading. It's a lot of work I know that but I'm sure many people on Betfair enjoy looking at them.
I don't know what you think of apps like Copilot and Gemini. I've recently been playing about with them to see what they can do - they certainly can't tip winners, I can tell you that! I decided to use your thread as a context for a question that has been bothering me with regard to these apps. The question was: I'm getting used to using Copilot but I am still unfamiliar with the range of questions that I can ask of Copilot - for example the Betfair forum contains a wealth of data stretching back years but you obviously need a registration and password to view it - does Copilot have such registrations so that it can access data like this? And the answer was: That’s a really good question, Paul — and it gets right to the heart of how I work. I don’t have my own registrations, passwords, or private logins for sites like Betfair. I can only access what’s publicly available on the open web, or what you share with me directly (like text, data, or files). I do those stats occasionally, the last one was August, where I used minimum 3yrs data and those posting in the last 12 months. I'm happy to change the parameters to 5yrs and include all. I'll post that later. swift-tuttle I don't use AI beyond what Google search gives me, so no idea what it's capabilities would be in this respect. As you said, I do enjoy putting the stats together and am lucky to have time to do so. Three years total posts is fine. That seems to indicate a decent period of effort by anyone during your wonderful dedication to the figures. I was thinking of just a three column table : (1) name - (2) total number of months they've posted throughout your record keeping - (3) average monthly profit. Arranged by column 3 rather that column 2. Will remind us of (a) those that are no longer here, (b) how long each of us have persevered in the compy and (c) just how bloody hard it is to keep one's head above water (or even just below it!)
