Aquarius was a very good winner of the August Div 1 competition by a big margin. His form in the second half of the month particularly was outstanding. 100/30 on the 21st, 6/4 on the 26th, 5/1 on the 28th, 18/1 on the 29th and 5/1 today. Coupled with a 5/1 and a 7/2 and a few short prices in the first half of the month meant he was an outright winner at the end of the month. Well done and huge congratulations!
Shoemaker vied with Aquarius for the top spot for a little while but was left trailing. Still managed to finish in second place. NEW GOLD DREAM, Fortismere and qqking filled the other remaining promoted positions. NEW GOLD DREAM had the best percentage with 66.67%, Fortismere had a four timer in the final week which guaranteed his place and qqking held on for fifth despite a 15/2 second today in a very tight race. Well done to all promoted napsters. Commiserations to the five going down, it won't be long before we see you back here again. |

Many thanks again to swift-tuttle and his fellow settlers for continuing to put all the work they do in running the nap competitions very efficiently. It would also be remiss not to give thanks also to undecided for the enormous time he spends running a large number of competitions on here.Without all their efforts this place would be so much poorer.
So many thanks again to you all, long may you continue with your settling efforts which are much appreciated by many on here. |
