July was one of those months where there was no outright leader. The first half dozen were within a few pounds of each other throughout and the situation was ripe on the last day of the month for a big outsider to swoop in and steal the show.
kkkatt fulfilled that role today with a 16/1 shot that saw him take the top of the table spot with a fiver to spare.
So well done to him, it's part of the game and hearty congratulations are due.
It was all very close after that for the other 4 promoted positions - travelling man and la mallatiere made safe their second and third spots with 2 different 6/5 chances, Sergeant Attarms was in fourth despite a -1 today for a No Selection and hoof hearted hung on in fifth place just 0.69 ahead of Major Ballsup.
Commiserations to the five going down, it won't be long before we see you back here again.
