As your unelected leader and Captain this will be only the second time I have taken part in this comp so I'm relying on you guys to help me. I will monitor and make sure we all post but if anyone is away and unable to post please advise so a wildcard can be selected.

VWD on a good day considering we were in 7th at one stage with Lucky L, China, George and myself all adding points. You'll be relieved to know that I'm not going to go with either of the risky ones I've put on my selection thread today, but in the hope of going with something more solid, I've gone each-way Kilmeaden in the Ulster Derby Handicap, 4.30 Down Royal (currently 4-1, 2 places).
He finished second on his penultimate start at Ballinrobe to the subsequent Queen's Vase winner Carmers, and while something had to finish second, it looked like they went a proper gallop, the winner had to work to get past him, and they were clear of a Willie Mullins odds-on shot. A mark of 85 looks fair on that evidence.
The softer ground might have been the excuse for the disappointing run last time at Tipperary, and hopefully they haven't done too 'good' a job with the watering today.
