Contrary to rumours I still know what year it is 
We have two changes since the last time but as it happens both our "newcomers" are former Humbugs.
In order to strike fear into the hearts of the enemy I shall name our warriors,beginning with Lampus obviously

I thought the Comp started on Mon but I misremembered we start on Sunday as usual.
I'm pretty certain you know all the rules,they're on undecided's thread of course,but raise any queries on here first
No team tactics as such from me,you're all hardened pros who know what you're doing. I might just prefer it if one or two had a go before Sat but don't feel obliged.
Do remember to put your selection on the official thread AND on here ( that makes it a lot easier for me )

It should really stay. The sire won the Belmont which is a stiffer stamina test and the dam is by High Chapparal. it is drifting though,but that means you get a ridiculously long price when it wins. Salmonbrokes has it at 11-10

Where we finish up depends on other team's results. A lot to go yet but things suddenly look brighter.

Thanks mainly to the dealer we were 2nd in the round and remain 2nd overall. We have narrowed the gap to 5 pts but The Pins tbf have been very cosistent,so although there are scenarios where we could win by coming 2nd,realistically we need to win the last round and hope the Pins don't come 2nd.
I think in the first week we all do our own thing ( except for me I will try and get some pts ). We MIGHT have to consider our tactics for the 2nd week,but we'll see how it goes.

Digby's not impossible. Unlikely but....
Horn Cape is a nice price considering it's in decent form. Haslam/McLernon do get winners for JP but all 3 are a bit dodgy imo.

I'm not actually sure that we need a 'huge' priced winner, just one bigger enough to finish in front of Each Way Thieves (who have no more selections) therefore a 2/1 winner would see us finish in second place overall (I think), but Lucky Pin Club still have two to play and are currently £41 ahead of us!! They must be favourites of course, but I'll pick one out from the list I put up and then its fingers crossed

Thank you everyone, that early blunder did for us, but thought we had it though, traded to 1.07. Still the place money should put us above the each way thieves, extra point could keep us in second place overall, I think?
