I do like Cover Up at a double figure price. This horse needs a decent pace, a flat track and a fast going to show his best.....he got none of them last time out at Musselburgh!

Also he takes a bit of knowing and Buick back on board is a huge plus

Seeing as No.7 has put one up that race I'll pick something else.

Gone for Wonder Star from your list. He was very well backed LTO and won with plenty in hand. I don't think he beat much that day but you'd be hopeful there's more to come

Great pick! Happysandwich ran a blinder and was just a touch unlucky. May I apologise for my absence once again. I really fancy Cosmic Year in the Irish 2000 Guineas, but I just feel the value has disappeared now, so I'm putting up City Of God in the Silver Bowl instead. He has some decent pieces of form in the book. I think this will be run at breakneck speed, and he will be right up with the van, hopefully holding on for a place late on. I'm not thrilled about the jockey booking, but more than prepared to take a chance at the prices. Fingers crossed.

I've gone for the Alan King trained Loughville in the 3.45 at Goodwood. She's a grand mare and she's ran 2 cracking races thus far this season. I'll think she be even better over this longer trip and on the quicker going. The negative is the rise in the weights but it might just be deserved because she could still be improving. The Doyler booked up is a plus too.

I've put Rumstar up as the Wildcard in the same race Chewy has put one up in.

Loughville pulled her chance away and Rumstar ran like a drain.  Well done with FOG Tangle

I know it's after timing, but I'd had a few quid on the winner, so happy days all round. I like James Bowen as a rider and hope he gets more rides for Henderson rather than De Boinville next season. I was going to put up Rockin' The Boat at Sandown tonight, but the price looks a bit cramped now, so I'll more than likely wait until Saturday again.

I've put up my Derby fancy, Pride Of Arras, for 10pts. Win. I love the way he has moved through his two races to date, and I believe there is a lot of improvement to come. Good luck Fatpunt, I hope you land your bet.  Ruling Court is probably the most talented horse in the race but there's a huge doubt how suitable the going will be for him. I think there was a lot to like about Lion in Winters comeback in the Dante won by your pick FP. he looked in need of the race and he also got himself worked up pre race. I think you'll see him taking a huge step forward today.  I get the feeling this race has been the plan for him before he even ran as a 2yo.

Going for Jm Jungle in the  2.45 Dash has been knocking on the door and deserves a win,had thought of Huit Reflets in the 4.05 Hexham, trainer Walford’s only runner on the day and has good form at track but at 20/1 will leave be,gl all

He's improving fast and with wins at Lingfield(AW) and Chester this suggests he's a well balanced type that should handle the track and must go close if he's ok on the going (No previous form on it)

I'm not blown away by this afternoon's flat action, to be honest, so I've posted my daily tip on the selection thread as well. Scots Poet 4:55 Hexham. A late recruit to fencing at the age of nine, but the bigger obstacles seem to have given him a new lease of life. He has had two more than respectable runs in class 4s, and this is a class 5 that looks very winnable. Fingers crossed. Hopefully, I'll find something at the Royal meeting throughout the week and not leave it until the last minute again.

I'm not really sweet on anything today so I've gone for a big priced one at Bath. There looks to be a lot of pace on up front and this race could pan out nicely for the old boy Carp kid who should be running on late in the day. If he reproduces his seasonal debut run he should there abouts at the finish with the trip, track and going all perfect for him.

Carp Kid was never winning but he really should have got 3rd place, slightly hampered 3F out. Good luck with your selections Tangle and FP

She's my nap today Tangle. She looks a rapid improver and she should thereabouts at the finish. I've gone for Flora of Bermuda in tomorrow's big race. I'll be going to Ascot tomorrow so I hope she goes close! And then I'm away on Holiday for a few weeks from Monday. Thanks for all your efforts chaps, we came up short but this comp is always good fun, I enjoy the challenge trying to pinpoint a best bet of the week.

I'll give Happy the wildcard this week but if he's not around, feel free to use it if you're sweet on one. Same goes for next week.

I've put up Spartan Warrior in the 7:00 at Bangor. He's gone from strength to strength since being fitted with cheekpieces. He's only a 4-year-old, so he benefits from a little bit of weight for age. Brian Hughes rides for Rebecca Menzies instead of Donald McCain, who also saddles a runner here. The extra couple of furlongs should play to his strengths also.
Without sounding like an aftertimer, I had a couple of big-priced winners in the other competitions. I just wish I'd posted one of them on this thread. Have a great day at Ascot WP and back plenty of winners. Fingers crossed.
