travelling man and hulk23 had a duel at the top of the table for most of the month, hulk23 having started the month with an 18/1 shot. travelling man responded with a 10/1 shot midway through the month and this, coupled with a higher strike rate of shorter prices, gained him the upper hand in the last week or so of the competition. Hearty congratulations are due to travelling man and well done to hulk23 for making it such a close fight.
The other 3 to be promoted were Theresa Crouse, Rambling Bear and Fortismere. Rambling Bear jumped into the top five on the final day with a 4/6 winner and so was rewarded for her high strike rate. Fortismere made judicious use of his rest days to hang on in fifth place from the fast finishing Oakley who was top scorer today with a 7/2 winner. Theresa Croude was another that was rewarded for his very high strike rate. Well done to all five promoted napsters. Commiserations to the five going down, it won't be long before we see you here again I'm sure. Oakley 7/2, up 3 places into 6th, 0.12 behind a promotion place, unlucky lmlac 3/1, up 2 places into 8th tangerine 6/4, up 1 place into 25th happysandwich 6/5, up 3 places into 15th Hard luck for NEW GOLD DREAM who saw a 14/1 shot finish in 3rd. Well done all 7 winners. Best of luck to all next month. |
