PREMIER DIVISION FINAL TABLE AUGUST 2024

     *****  Congratulations to GEORGE.B *****
     *****  August 2024 Premier Division winner !!  *****

The day's best result was our winner GEORGE.B who takes the title notching a 18/5 first place. He had an inauspicious start to the month with 5 straight losses. But then found a 6/1 winner to get back on track. Half way through the month he took over at the top with a 14/1 gem and stayed there until the last few days of August, only retaking top spot on the final day. Well done to him.

Next best on the day was la mallatiere who advances 6 places into 16th with a 5/2 winner.

Other positive results were happysandwich with a 9/4 score and Oakley securing a 13/8 victory.

A reminder to please specify your forum name in emails. The mystery one sent last night was probably Storm Alert, but if it was, his selection lost anyway.

Well done soldieroffortune for racking up an impressive 95.45% of winners. And also a mention for Lucky Luciano. Coming 5th after 2 titles on the bounce shows some great consistency.

Congrats to all winners. Good luck next month.

GEORGE Congratulations on a brilliant month and a much deserved title. learning and Storm well played to you both on massively impressive totals.

Aquarius a very generous offer from you on the final day thread and I’m certain that someone for sure will rise to that challenge.

Imlac thank you again for the immense job you do on here for us day in day out, it’s greatly appreciated by all of us.

Well done George, thanks for the bookkeeping Imlac.

Missed break soon on terms led halfway headed over a furlong out
Stayed on to lead close home.

Well done George

Thanks Imlac so appreciated

Imlac, soldieroffortune, GC and youresomean, thank you all very much.

Well done on your impressive strike rate, soldieroffortune.

I think I might now be in the record books myself when it comes to 'strike rate', though not necessarily something to be shouting about from the rooftops...In this instance, the longest gap between premier division wins, having won it in August 2015 and then not again until August 2024.

9 years between drinks (if only, my liver shouts)...I'll have to try and win it again before August 2033
